In order to allow more skiers to experience a different ski season, the ski resort has adjusted the slope of the intermediate slope and added an escalator. Since its opening in 2016, the ski resort has continued to innovate and has successfully hosted eight ski season events so far. At present, the ski resort has built three ski trails, elementary, intermediate and high, equipped with thousands of sets of ski equipment, which can accommodate more than 5,000 skiers at the same time.

During the 2024 New Year's Day holiday, skiers from all over the country can't wait to start the "first ski" here, where everyone jumps off the top of the mountain with neatly dressed and snowboards to enjoy the speed and fun brought by ice and snow sports. Skiing for the first time in his life in Guizhou made Wu Zhangxi, a tourist from Guangdong, exclaim, "It's so enjoyable!" He said that the Yushe Snow Resort has perfect facilities, the staff is enthusiastic, and he feels happy and excited.
"During the New Year's Day holiday, Yushe Snow Mountain Ski Resort and Baichehe Hot Spring also jointly launched the 'Ski + Hot Spring' ice and fire experience product. At the same time, for young people who come to the ski resort, snow DJ performances, snow family fun competitions, wrestling matches, etc., so that tourists can come with fun and return satisfied. On December 21, 2023, the first ice sports center in Liupanshui City will be opened, with a total area of 300 square meters, equipped with 150 sets of professional skates (including a complete set of protective helmets), 1 ice car imported from Germany, and 8 professional ice coaches, which can carry out ice hockey, short track speed skating, figure skating training and entertainment activities, and can accommodate nearly 100 skating enthusiasts at the same time.
At present, there are 8 indoor (outdoor) ski resorts in the province, distributed in Liupanshui, Guiyang, Zunyi, Anshun, Qiannan and other places, and the layout of the ski industry is becoming more and more perfect. Ice and snow tourism is favored by the majority of tourists and has become a new trend of winter tourism in Guizhou.
Although ice and fire are intolerable, "ice" and "fire" can be combined. Playing in the snow and keeping out the cold have become the two major themes of winter holiday travel, and this pair of new "pairs" has driven Guizhou's winter tourism market to become increasingly hot.
Guizhou is known as "China's hot spring province and the world's health resort", with 237 hot spring tourism resources in 77 counties (cities and districts), allowing visitors from all over the world to get rid of fatigue and recuperate physically and mentally in the hot springs.
