During this period, Wang Bo, Yang Jiong, Lu Zhaolin, and Luo Binwang, who were later known as the "Four Masters of the Early Tang Dynasty", rose to fame and were known for their outstanding poetry and articles. Li Jingxuan, who was also a servant of the bureaucracy, was very respectful and recommended them to Pei Xingjian.
After understanding and investigating, Pei Xingjian thought that they were all very talented, but they were not suitable for being officials, and among the four people, only Yang Jiong could be a county commander.
At that time, another famous poet, Su Weifangcai, was not yet famous, but Pei Xingjian attached great importance to it, thinking that he would definitely be able to become a high official in the future.
Later, sure enough, Wang Boshi's journey was not smooth, and he only did the chaosanlang from Qipin, and later demoted to join the army in Yuzhou; Yang Jiong was the highest prince Zhan Shi from Qipin; Lu Zhaolin did clerical work for a period of time, and later became a county lieutenant; Luo Bin Wang was a servant of the imperial history, from Qipin. Su Wei was in the official position of Wu Zetian at the time of Wu Zetian, and the position of prime minister was the same as that of Fengge Luantai Pingzhangshi.
During Pei Xingjian's lifetime, he recommended and selected and reused people, such as Cheng Wuting, Zhang Qianxun, Cui Zhixun, Wang Fangyi, Dang Jinbi, Liu Jingtong, Guo Beifeng, Li Duozuo, and Black Tooth Changzhi, who later became famous generals and were active in the court in the Gaozong Dynasty and Wu Zetian Dynasty.
