In fact, as early as when the world was not unified, King Yingzheng of Qin had the idea of building Afang Palace, so after unifying the six countries in 221 BC, he recruited 700,000 migrant workers to build Afang Palace.

Although it was not completed in the end, but in a long period of history, it still maintained its original appearance, during the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Bang divided this place and its surroundings into Shanglin Yuan, so that the palace was saved from destruction, because its geographical location is relatively close to Chang'an, so it was also used as the best place to garrison soldiers, some emperors had stationed troops here to prepare to enter the customs.
Key cultural relics protection units
