As everyone knows, Zhang Zhongjing, the medical saint of God's tomorrow, organically integrated the laws of the four elephants of heaven and earth with traditional Chinese medicine, and creatively left the "Four Spirits Divine Formula" [Qinglong Soup (Big Qinglong Soup, Little Qinglong Soup), White Tiger Soup, Xuanwu Soup (also known as Zhenwu Soup), Vermilion Bird Soup (one is Coptis Ejiao Soup, and the other is Ten Jujube Soup)]. For this "Four Spirits Divine Fang" in later generations, the highest appearance rate is the Qinglong series, which also echoes Qinglong as the prime minister of the four divine beasts. The ancients said, "The noble of the gods is no more precious than the green dragon", which also shows that the medical saint Zhang Zhongjing named the prescription after the green dragon, which was intended to warn future generations that if the green dragon can listen to the order, he will receive the medicine to the spirit of the disease.
The medical saint Zhang Zhongjing left two dragons for later generations of doctors, a big green dragon and a small green dragon, if they can be used properly, they will be able to cure the disease. However, in the inheritance of later generations, Xiaoqinglong soup gradually stood out, and flew into the homes of ordinary people with lightning speed, so that many cough and asthma patients gained health, and because of the excellent curative effect of Xiaoqinglong soup, it was also selected as one of the top ten prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine by later generations of doctors. When it comes to these honors of Xiaoqinglong Soup, Guizhi Soup, which is known as the "crown of the group", expresses dissatisfaction, and ephedra soup, which is known as the "recipe for returning the soul", expresses puzzlement, but Ephedra Soup and Guizhi Soup have to sigh that it is indeed "the back waves of the Yangtze River pushing the front waves", and "the blue is better than the blue"!

The eight flavors of Chinese medicine in Xiaoqinglong soup can be called the "Eight Heavenly Dragons", and each flavor of Chinese medicine is unwilling to be left behind, playing a unique role. In modern clinical application, we only need to remember the core pathogenesis of "cold on the outside and water on the inside" (that is, "cold pack water" as the saying goes), and basically we can skillfully use Xiaoqinglong soup to regulate the symptoms.
When using Xiaoqinglong soup, it should be noted that people with yin deficiency and dry cough without phlegm, sweating more, people with diseases such as self-sweating and night sweats, lung dryness and yin deficiency, cough and asthma, etc., should be forbidden to use Xiaoqinglong soup; In addition, pregnant women and people with allergies should not use Xiaoqinglong soup.
