In the year when the mainland failed to apply for the Millennium Olympics, many things happened.
The Milky Way incident, Hong Kong and Macao have not yet returned, and reform and opening up are still in the chaos of exploration.
It was 1993, an ordinary but vibrant era.
Some people take advantage of the reform and opening up to quit their jobs in the system and start a business;
Some began to submit and create, and under the open spring breeze, batches of grasses burst out of vitality.
It was also in this year that the central government sent armed police soldiers to escort the estate of a religious leader, who stayed up for almost six days and six nights.
This leader is the 10th Panchen Lama of Tibet.

Present China – or, rather, from the founding of the People's Republic of China to the present day.
Our religious policy has always been "neither to encourage nor to oppose".
This allows all religions except cults, such as Catholicism and Christianity, to spread in China, but rarely on a large scale.
First, Marxism is materialism;
Second, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the thoughts of Chairman Mao and others led several generations.
Therefore, our belief in Catholicism and other religions is relatively susceptible to material things: generally how many eggs are given and how many days of faith are believed.
If you don't give it, you won't believe it, and go back to see my family's God of Wealth and Guanyin Bodhisattva.
However, this law does not hold true in Tibet.
Tibet has had a strong religious color since ancient times, especially its Panchen system.
The meaning of Panchen is a scholar.
He is also a religious leader and a living Buddha in the world, and has assumed the responsibility of communicating between Tibet and the central government.
Generally speaking, when the previous Panchen Lama passed away.
It is necessary to find the reincarnation of the next living Buddha, but the ninth living Buddha is more special.
During the term of the Ninth Emperor, the Japanese invaders wanted to carve up Tibet with money and infringe on the territorial integrity of the mainland, but he categorically refused.
As a result, the Ninth had to flee Tibet and wander, and the news of his death had been transmitted to Tibet for a long time.
The monks were also in a hurry to find the 10th Panchen Lama, and made two mistakes.
Before the 10th life, two children were chosen to be reincarnated.
One of them also passed the examination and served as a Panchen for two months, but suddenly fell ill and died.
The monks thought that this was a sign of a mistake.
But the second one was still not, and eventually the monks found 5-year-old Kampot Cidan in the home of a Tibetan farmer in Wendu Township, Xunhua County.
As a result of previous mistakes, the monks became cautious.
Even though Kampot Cidan was very early and wise, and it was the first time they met, but they greeted the monks very familiarly, they did not make any conclusions.
Until the conditions of the time, it was impossible to see Kampot as a Buddhist holy relic.
Identifying the things brought by the monks one by one, the monks' hanging hearts were slightly relaxed.
The monks also tested Kampot on their knowledge of Buddhism, and the 5-year-old child answered fluently.
Judging from the above records, it seems that the Panchen system in Tibet really has some subtleties, and it seems that every Panchen is a genius who cannot be explained by science:
How do you do it, say something you haven't learned at all?
However, this doubt is not the focus of today.
Judging from the life of the 10th Panchen Lama, he can still be called a "mysterious" person.
No Regrets Grandmaster
Since the age of five, the 10th Panchen Lama has shouldered the important task of passing on Buddhism and preserving Tibetan culture, creating opportunities to contact and bless tens of thousands of Tibetan people.
In 1986, he blessed 50,000 people who waited day and night.
The scene was crowded, and Panchen's arm was so swollen that he could barely lift it, but he still persevered for two days and two nights.
His footprints are all over Tibet, and everywhere he goes, there are joys and auspicious sounds.
At the same time, the 10th Panchen Lama responded to the central government's call for reunification of Tibet and made tremendous contributions to Tibet's peace and development.
This Panchen lived only 51 years, he was born in 1938 and became a Panchen in 1943.
History textbooks say, "In 1951, the 10th Panchen Lama of Tibet met with the leaders, and the two sides had difficult but important negotiations......
The picture accompanying the history book of the Renjiao edition is that of the Panchen Lama who is about 30 years old.
That was actually a photo of the meeting with Deng Gong in 1980, and the Panchen who met Chairman Mao was only 13 years old.
What is even more striking is that after he returned to Tibet, he always kept in touch with Chairman Mao.
It has also actively promoted various policies of the central government and won more financial support for Tibet.
At the age of 16, the Panchen became a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
This is almost impossible to see in other provinces, and he has not failed to live up to the party's expectations and has devoted his life to the cause of Tibet.
In 89, the 10th Panchen Lama had a heart attack in the process of touching the top and blessing, and although the central government sent a medical team to treat him, the leader still left Hongchen.
Looking at his life, we will find that this is indeed a life that common sense cannot explain.
If you have to use a scientific explanation, it can only be said that the reincarnated spirit child that the monks are looking for is a kind of hyperamnesia or high-energy autistic person, and has his own memories in the womb.
But the probability of such a person appearing is very low, and how do the monks of Tibetan Buddhism guarantee that they can be found every few decades?
It can only be said that perhaps the Buddha's apparition really exists.
However, the 11th Panchen Lama today grew up receiving both Buddhism and socialism at the same time.
I wonder what he thinks of religion and materialism?
In the Yushu earthquake of that year, the 11th arrived at the disaster area under the guidance of the central government, blessed the affected people and rescue fighters, and delivered a speech.
The speech was to the effect that the survivors were advised to continue to live.
Objectively, the stability of social order has been maintained, and to a certain extent, the hearts of the people affected by the disaster have been soothed.
Perhaps, these monks and Panchen Lamas, understand the meaning of religion.
That is to give people a kind of spiritual support.
Now that I think about it, the conditions in Tibet are so bitter and difficult.
It is not easy for the people to live in the modern era when the productive forces are developed, not to mention that the people did not starve to death in ancient times?
Written at the end of the article
There was once a living Buddha who gave a lecture at a university.
At that time, I went to several Buddhist believers in society, and as soon as they entered the door, they kowtowed a few times to the living Buddha lying on the ground.
The Living Buddha smiled at them.
After they retreated, the Living Buddha said that one should not kowtow to another person.
That talk was about how to deal with the psychological problems encountered in life.
This living Buddha is Khenpo Sodaji.
He talks about the advancement of Buddhism with the times and its application in life, which is why he gives lectures on mental health education to college students.
People can worship an idea or a doctrine, but they should not kowtow to some people.
Otherwise, it is not a respect for Tibetan culture and Tibetan Buddhism, which have been inherited for thousands of years, but simply a worship of authority.
