Xiang Yu is well aware that black tea has the advantages of wide coverage of tea raw materials, long picking season, low storage cost and wide audience. In order to get out of the predicament, he began to add equipment, borrow loans, and boldly develop black tea in 2015.

Xiang Yu actively changed the sales mode, and successfully signed an agreement with Guizhou Guicha Co., Ltd., a key leading enterprise of national agricultural industrialization, and the annual order of 30,000 catties of black tea not only kept the business operation, but also opened up a new processing line.

With the in-depth development of east-west cooperation, coastal tea merchants entered Yinjiang and discovered the huge potential of Yinjiang black tea development.

In September 2018, Guizhou Guirui Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., the first company focusing on black tea production, was put into operation. Xiang Youyu, the founder of the company, said: "In order to create a excellent, high-end and highly competitive brand black tea, we started from the source of the base, and newly cultivated more than 1,000 acres of tea varieties suitable for the production of black tea - Qiancha No. 1, as the production raw material base of high-quality black tea, and developed the famous black tea brand of 'Fanjing Mountain Black Tea'." ”

In December 2022, this black tea stood out from hundreds of black tea brands selected by hundreds of domestic and foreign companies in the 2nd World Black Tea Product Quality Selection and Recommendation Activity, and won the gold medal in one fell swoop, allowing people all over the world to get acquainted with Yinjiang black tea.

From four or five tea companies processing black tea sporadically ten years ago, to more than 40 large-scale production companies today, the idea of only selling green tea no longer exists, and the green leaves of the mountains are "red".

Looking for a way out, a leaf "fragrant".

"At that time, most of the black tea produced was basic, with no characteristics and no fragrance. Wei Houda, director of the Tea Industry Development Center of Yinjiang Autonomous County, said that there are very few varieties of black tea that can be produced in Yinjiang's tea gardens with characteristics and quality. "The county's 265,000 acres of tea plantations, 95% of the planted tea varieties are Fuding Dabai, the variety is suitable for processing green tea, only more than 1,300 acres of Qiancha No. 1 is suitable for processing black tea. ”

Whether to improve tea varieties or improve processing technology, Yinjiang is facing new challenges to improve the quality and efficiency of black tea.

In order to break through the predicament, the main person in charge of the Yinjiang County Party Committee and the county government has organized tea enterprises and tea artists to Fujian, Zhejiang and other places to carry out investigation and study Xi, seek a new way for the development of black tea, and improve the rate of tea planting.

The stones of other mountains can be used to attack jade. In July 2022, 30 tea technicians from Yinjiang walked into Tanyang, Fujian Province to learn the Xi Tanyang Gongfu black tea making process. The one-week training opened the eyes of Yinjiang people.

"Through the training, we have gained a lot and changed the way we make black tea and our cognition. Yan Shijuan, general manager of Guizhou Guirui Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., said that after coming back, he used Fujian Tanyang Gongfu black tea technology to develop a new Yinjiang black tea.

In October 2022, Guizhou Mountain Valley Agriculture Co., Ltd., which was born specifically for black tea, rose from the ground, and the company established a fully automatic black tea production line, a clean refining production line, and a fully automatic packaging line to achieve standardized, automated, and modern R&D and production of black tea. At the same time, Yinjiang Hongyuan Agricultural Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd., a state-level leading tea enterprise, has established a black tea training base, combined R&D and training, continued to promote product research and development, and improved black tea-related technologies.

In the year after returning from school, the tea-making skills of Yinjiang tea technicians have been greatly improved. On June 13, a black tea review event was held as scheduled, and 16 tea companies showed their best black tea products in front of experts for "review". Professor Lu Chengyin believes that the tea varieties planted in Yinjiang are of high quality and are no problem to use to make black tea, and a special process has been added to the processing line to make black tea have a floral and fruity aroma, and the brand is named "Yinjiang Flower and Fruit Red".

In order to stabilize the black tea processing technology, Yinjiang also specially hired Lu Chengyin as the chief scientist for the high-quality development of the Yinjiang tea industry, and jointly established a black tea research station with a team of experts to provide technical support for the development of the Yinjiang black tea industry.

"In order to further stabilize the production level of 'Yinjiang Huaguo Red', we regularly carry out training to further improve the quality of Yinjiang black tea processing practitioners and the level of tea processing skills. Wei Houda said that in addition to quality, brand norms are also very important, the tea industry development center has developed a unified group standard, and the black tea produced by the enterprise can only be listed as "Yinjiang Huaguo Red" if it meets the production standard.

As a result, based on the existing tea varieties and the technical support of experts from the China Institute of Tea Sciences, Yinjiang has established two black tea refining and processing plants, two automatic black tea production lines, and three black tea research and development sites, fully utilizing summer and autumn tea raw materials to produce black tea, and creating a 'Yinjiang Huaguo Red' characteristic black tea brand to achieve unified standards, unified packaging, and unified brands.

In order to promote the black tea industry, on September 4 this year, at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 14th Yinjiang Autonomous County Party Committee and the Semi-annual Economic Work Conference, the "Implementation Opinions of the People's Government of Yinjiang Autonomous County Committee of the Communist Party of China on Green Ecology Leading the High-quality Development of Fanjing Mountain Tea" was deliberated and adopted, and it was clearly proposed to build a Qiandong Ecological Tea Industry Demonstration Zone, a Guizhou Tea Refining and Processing Trade Zone, and the first county of Guizhou Huaguo Black Tea.

On October 27, the "Guizhou Province 2023 Autumn Tea Fighting Competition" was held in Guiyang, and after the "Yinjiang Huaguo Red" black tea passed the "expert review", it was sent to the provincial and external sub-venues for public evaluation. After layers of evaluation, it stood out from 36 tea samples and won the silver award in the black tea category.

In the past year, it has participated in the 2023 5th China Taiyuan Tea Industry Expo, Qingdao Tea Expo, China Farmers' Harvest Festival "Fanjing Mountain Treasures, Health and Wellness" Green Characteristic Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Activities, the 6th China-Arab States Expo, the 2023 Hong Kong Food Fair International Tea Exhibition and other exhibitions 9 times, and signed orders for more than 200 tons of "Yinjiang Huaguo Red" at the exhibition, totaling 16.8 million yuan.

This year, the 40,000 catties of black tea produced by the company have all been sold out. At present, Yinjiang has invested more than 10 million yuan in 3 tea enterprises, cultivated 1 national agricultural leading enterprise, and 6 agricultural leading enterprises above the provincial level. Among them, there are 35 leading tea enterprises with SC certification, green food certification, organic food certification, etc. In 2023, Yinjiang will produce 2,640 tons of black tea with an output value of 356 million yuan, doubling the growth.
