Kunming Zoo's announcement on the continued closure of the north gate of the park
Dear Visitors,
In order to assist in the construction project of the sewage removal and diversion project in Wuhua District (community, courtyard) of Kunming City, to meet the construction needs and ensure the safety of tourists, from 1 o'clock on November 15, 2023, the north gate of Kunming Zoo (diagonally opposite Yunnan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital) and the northwest gate (Yuantong North Road near the East Second Hospital of Yunnan University) will be temporarily closed for management. Due to the fact that the park received the "Application for Extension of the Construction Period of the Zoo" from the Construction Headquarters of the Sewage Removal and Diversion Project in Wuhua District (Community, Courtyard) of Kunming City on December 28, 2023, due to the adjustment of the construction plan of the north gate section, the restoration of the stairs and the adjustment of the municipal connection port, the increase in the amount of work and the difficulty of the construction process, it has not been completed as scheduled.
In order to ensure the safety of tourists and ensure the quality of construction. The opening time of the north gate of our park will be adjusted to 7:30 a.m. on January 11, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
