On the morning of December 29th, the "People's Livelihood Daguan Home" public welfare gathering and the theme publicity activity of "Dongguan Community Wish" were held in Qifeng Park Square. Nearly 40 themed publicity booths were set up at the event site, attracting many citizens to stop and participate, and the atmosphere of the event was very warm.
The event was hosted by the Dongguan Civil Affairs Bureau, co-organized by the Dongcheng Sub-district Office and the Municipal Federation of Social Organizations. Since the launch and implementation of this project in June 2020, it has always adhered to the service tenet of "the people have called, I have responded", with the most convenient way, the most flexible means and the fastest response, to solve the "people's livelihood micro-wishes" in life, medical care, education, housing, employment, pension and other aspects of the people, and to handle the improvement of the living environment, the improvement of service facilities, and the development of public service projects in various villages (communities) micro-facts of people's livelihood", which provides strong support for promoting the deep integration and symbiosis of tens of millions of people and cities. In particular, in terms of mobilizing social forces to participate, the "Minsheng Daguan Family" accurately connects the charity power with the information of people's livelihood demands through effective means such as building a charity adoption platform, establishing a love resource library, and establishing an incentive mechanism, and guides social forces to participate in the handling of the "Minsheng Daguan Home" service project. Up to now, the city has attracted more than 1,900 enterprises, social organizations and enthusiastic citizens to join the 'People's Livelihood Daguanjia' love resource bank, nearly 8,000 projects have been solved through social forces, and more than 680 yuan of social charity funds have been absorbed.
In her speech, Li Xueqin expressed the hope that the majority of entrepreneurs and representatives of social organizations will continue to carry forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation of being kind and benevolent and helping the poor, and continue to participate in and support the brand building of "People's Livelihood Daguanjia", so as to inject a steady stream of new momentum into the development of Dongguan's people's livelihood.
In the activities of the day, the docking ceremony of "Dongguan Community Fulfillment Wish" and the public service project performance of "People's Livelihood Daguan Home" were also carried out. Recently, the staff of "Minsheng Daguan Home" at all levels have collected the first batch of 269 "people's livelihood micro-wishes" put forward by the first batch of 269 people in difficulty through household visits and active surveys, among them, some hope to receive living materials to spend a warm winter, some hope to get tuition fees to continue their children's education, some hope to get assistance to tide over the trough of life, and some hope to get drug support to reduce the burden of life...... "Minsheng Daguan Home" After bringing together this batch of appeals, 52 wish packages with a value ranging from 4,500 yuan to 13,000 yuan were sorted out, and the Municipal Federation of Social Organizations and the town and street charity associations (charitable foundations) worked together to widely mobilize caring social forces to claim these wish bags. Through the joint efforts of all parties, a total of 24 social organizations, 15 caring enterprises, and 2 enthusiastic citizens have claimed 44 of the wish packages, totaling 336,200 yuan, so that the micro-wishes of the needy people can be realized.
It is hoped that in the future, more caring enterprises, social organizations, and enthusiastic citizens can actively join the "Minsheng Daguan Home" love resource library, and claim the "Minsheng Daguan Home" service project by scanning the QR code or logging in to the official website of the Dongguan Charity Association and the 12345 web portal, so that more families in need can be helped and feel warm.
