  According to the Korea Chess Academy, on March 11, the 89th Regular Council of the Korean Chess Academy was held in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the Korea Chess Academy. The meeting was presided over by President Lin Caizheng, and 28 of the 33 directors attended the meeting (including 6 delegates).

  At the first council meeting of the Korean Chess Academy held in 2020, four bills were passed, including "2019 Business Summary and Settlement Recognition", "2020 Work Plan and Budget Approval", and "Selection of New Directors of the Korean Chess Academy".

  Cha Min-so, the president of the Korean Professional Chess Association, the two nine-dan chess players recommended by the Korean Professional Chess Association, Kim Dekui and Liang Jian, the president of the Korean Women's Chess Association, Lee Ji-hyun, and the director of the Korean Chess Academy, Liang Jae-ho, became the new directors of the Korean Chess Academy.
