The newly completed 117 kilometers of Jiuzhaigou (Ganchuan boundary) to Mianyang Expressway in Sichuan Province participated by China Railway 11th Bureau will be put into operation on December 29, and the opening section is the Jiuzhaigou section and the Jiangyou to Pingwu section.
It is understood that the Jiumian Expressway has a total length of 244 kilometers, with the implementation of sectional construction and sectional opening to traffic, plus the 89 kilometers opened to traffic in 2022, the cumulative total mileage of 206 kilometers, and the whole line is expected to be opened to traffic in 2024. After the completion of the Jiumian Expressway, the distance from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou will be shortened to 4 hours, which is of great significance for the development of tourism resources along the route and the promotion of rural revitalization.
