Soneva Chirui is very large, it takes at least 10 minutes to drive a battery car from South Beach to the main public area, and a battery car is the best choice for transportation.
If you don't know how to drive a battery car, it doesn't matter, just trouble the housekeeper to pick you up.
Soneva Chiri is an all-villa hotel, the smallest villa is 464m².

The total area of many domestic hotels is far less than the basic villa of Soneva Chiri, but it is much more expensive than the basic room of Soneva Chiri.

There are a total of 33 villas in the entire Soneva Kiri hotel, each of which is tucked away in the lush jungle of Koh Kood.
There was no damage to the existing ecology during the construction process, and the whole Soneva Chiri is like a jungle hotel.
Soneva Chiri is not only a big room, but the hotel is also super big. There are several hills throughout the hotel, with sandy beaches, bays, and reefs......
I drove the hotel's battery car anyway, and it took me two days to figure out where the resort's public areas were.
As a result, on the third day, the housekeeper helped me make an appointment for a new restaurant (belonging to the resort, but outside the resort), and I couldn't find my way again.
The public area of the hotel is also basically made of wood, and it was the first time I had come across such a hotel, and I was completely impressed by Soneva's eco-friendly philosophy.
It's not luxurious, it's a bit unpretentious, and every detail is as good as it is to preserve the nature as it is.
Soneva Chiri has an observatory, which is the standard feature of every Soneva hotel, and you can watch the stars at night.
This is a pristine ecological environment with extremely low light pollution, and you can communicate face-to-face with the bright night sky, I took a picture casually, I haven't seen so many stars in a long time.
Soneva Chiri's children's playground is the most interesting of all the hotels I've ever stayed in.
They have a children's playground for children, The Den, which is made of bamboo, which is amazing.

The inside is also made of bamboo, and it is a large area with a children's library, art room, music room, etc. It's a pity that I didn't bring my baby this time, otherwise he would have liked it very much.
There is more than one children's playground at Soneva Chiri, and I remember a selection of the hotel's parent-child facilities as one of the top five children's resorts in the world.
Soneva Kiri has its own organic vegetable garden and is self-sufficient in many ingredients, especially spices. Of course, it is also one of the venues for parent-child activities in the hotel, teaching children to recognize plants.
About Soneva Chiri's fun
For the most part, Soneva Chiri takes an all-inclusive model. The butler will arrange your play in advance, usually a full day to arrange an out-of-resort tour.
We went out to sea for snorkeling, two people in a boat, led by an instructor. There's an uninhabited island right next to Soneva Chiri, and there's a lot to see in the float.
Before entering the water, the instructor will tell us in detail what we can see underwater. Immediately after snorkeling, the butler will serve fruits and drinks.
Another day's tour is to explore Koh Koo, which is also a car for two people, and the driver and housekeeper take them to the waterfall, the Big Buddha, and the beach......

Some sailing, surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling and other sea sports can be done on the beach of the hotel, which are also free of charge, and there will be a special person to play with you.

However, the treehouse restaurant requires an additional fee (only this table), it is recommended to make an appointment for a treehouse afternoon tea, which is much more cost-effective.
I don't think I took a good picture of the treehouse restaurant, and the official picture is really tempting.
Benz Thai Restaurant is the only restaurant outside the hotel and can be reached by boat or car.
This restaurant is also a must-see, managed by Thai celebrity chef Khun Benz, and specializes in Thai food.
Then I had a magical Thai meal.
Squeeze lemon to change color drinks, and wrap leaves in snacks to eat. It's very different from the Thai food I've eaten before.
