The construction process of each rail transit line is a long-distance run to overcome difficulties, and there is a group of builders who are fighting on the front line and paying silently. Not long ago, Chongqing Rail Transit Line 5 (Dashiba-Shiqiaopu Section) and Line 10 (Houbao-Orchid Road Section) were opened for initial operation, and the two north-south rail backbone lines were fully connected, which embodies the hard work and sweat of countless Chongqing rail people. In the eyes of laymen, Zhao Yi, who has participated in the construction of many new lines, may gradually dissipate with the accumulation of work experience in the face of the construction of the second phase of Line 10, but for him, being able to witness and participate in the construction of a station from scratch will always be full of pride.
During the construction of the second phase of Line 10, when others were still asleep, Zhao Yi had already appeared at the construction site. Whether it's a hot summer day or a cold winter day, he is always the first to arrive on the scene and the last to leave. He always said: "It is my responsibility as a representative of the owner to practice the concept of 'safety first', and it is not something that can be simply put on the lips." He runs around the station under construction every day, communicates and coordinates the on-site construction, and sometimes he is so busy that he even has to rely on "squeezing" the time for eating and resting, and "walking 40,000 steps a day" is a norm. Although the construction work was hard and tiring, Zhao Yi never flinched and always maintained a serious and responsible attitude. During a routine inspection, he found a potential safety hazard on the construction site, so he immediately called relevant personnel to investigate and rectify. In Zhao Yi's view, "safety" is the key to ensuring the smooth progress of construction work.

In addition to paying attention to the details of the construction site, Zhao Yi also actively coordinates and solves various problems in the construction. During the construction process, he found many design flaws and proposed improvement plans in a timely manner, avoiding possible large-scale construction delays. Not only that, at each construction node, Zhao Yi will deeply analyze the problems that may occur in the construction in advance, and list the specific solutions one by one. At the construction site, Zhao Yi can always be seen holding a notebook and docking work progress with various units, a line construction is completed, Zhao Yi uses to record the work of the notebook have several thick copies, "details determine success or failure, only to maintain a rigorous attitude, in order to ensure the efficient progress of the rail transit project." In 2019 and 2022, he successively won the honors of advanced individual in safety of the rail group and advanced individual of the rail group.
Zhao Yi has been working silently with 13 years of youth, whether it is the hard work of the construction site or the coordination and communication in the early stage of construction, Zhao Yi is witnessing the change and development of Chongqing rail transit with his own practical actions.
