Lu Zuli was born in Chongqing in 1939, his mother was a doctor, his father was an engineer, and his family was well-off since he was a child. Lu Zuli has 5 brothers and sisters, and she is the third.
Lu Zuli in her girlhood is bright-eyed and versatile, and has Xi vocal music since elementary school. Her cousin-in-law is the famous poet Li Ji, who wrote the long narrative poem "Wang Gui and Li Xiangxiang", which has been selected into middle school Chinese textbooks.
In 1955, Lu Zuli came to Beijing from Chongqing to apply for the China Conservatory of Music and lived in the house of his cousin-in-law Li Ji.

Ma Guoguang, originally from Liaoning, was born in Beijing in 1932, 7 years older than Lu Zuli. Ma Guoguang's father, Ma Dingchen, is Zhang Xueliang's adjutant, he is handsome and tall, but he is a playboy.
Ma Guoguang's mother's name is Huang Huazhen, a native of Beijing, who gave birth to Ma Guoguang at the age of 18.
In 1938, Ma Dingchen had an extramarital affair, forced Huang Huazhen to divorce, and took his son Ma Guoguang away. After his parents divorced, Ma Guoguang never saw his mother again, and he spent decades in thoughts and tears.

His clothes and hair were dirty, he slept in a garbage can at night, he also took care of children for the Japanese, served as a soldier for the Kuomintang platoon commander, and brushed shoulders with death several times.
After the liberation of the country, Ma Guoguang joined the People's Liberation Army and was arranged to be a singer and actor in the Comrades-in-Arms Art Troupe of the Beijing Military Region.

She was trained by the Haizheng Song and Dance Troupe, and was supposed to go to the Haizheng Song and Dance Troupe, but in order to be with Ma Guoguang, Lu Zuli chose to enter the Beijing Military Region Comrades-in-Arms Art Troupe.
In 1965, Lu Zuli and Ma Guoguang got married, and the unit gave them a one-bedroom apartment. After marriage, Lu Zuli gave birth to two daughters in a row, the eldest daughter is called Ma Langlang, and the younger daughter is called Ma Lanlan.
Ma Guoguang in the 60s was the most popular, and he led the singing of "Four Crossings of Chishui and Surprise Soldiers" in the large-scale music and dance epic "Long March Songs", with red borders and rivers north and south.

In 1982, Ma Guoguang came home from a performance, and as soon as he entered the door, beads of sweat the size of soybeans appeared on his forehead, his face was pale, and he opened his mouth wide and gasped.
Lu Zuli helped her husband to the sofa and quickly called the doctor to come to the house for first aid.
The doctor gave Ma Guoguang an intravenous drip, performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and rescued him for more than an hour before he turned his life.

As a result, during the performance, Ma Guoguang suffered from massive bleeding in his nasal artery and fell into a deep coma, requiring blood transfusion for first aid. Due to cerebral thrombosis compressing nerves, Ma Guoguang's two calf muscles atrophied, plus two plus signs of diabetes, he could not sing standing during the performance, so he sat and sang.
