Zhang Gezhuang: A township at the junction of Qixia in Fushan, the hometown of female astronaut Wang Yaping

author:Jiaodong Story Meeting

Two days ago, with the successful launch of the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft, the hometown of female astronaut Wang Yaping, Zhanggezhuang Town (Zhanggezhuang Village) in Fushan District, Yantai City, has also become a popular location on the Internet, and the pictures, texts, videos, and small videos related to it can retrieve a large number of them.

However, perhaps because I just arrived at a wedding banquet in Zhanggezhuang Village during the eleventh holiday, the author's reaction to this "hot spot" was slightly sluggish (because it was more familiar), and there was no discussion of related topics in the past two days. Some enthusiastic friends also reminded me specifically to say: "Don't you introduce Zhang Gezhuang?" ”

In fact, before that, we also sent a lot of pictures about Zhanggezhuang Town, such as The Temple of Aoyuan (a local scenic spot), the apricot blossom (there is a historic apricot forest on the hill of Zhanggezhuang Village), the big cherry (a local specialty), the surname Quan (special surname), and the shooting location of "Xiyingmen" (the former site of Zhanggezhuang Primary School). However, after being reminded by a friend, the author thought carefully, although there were many introductions in the past, it was indeed a bit fragmentary. For non-local readers, it is difficult to systematically understand the general situation of The Town of Zhanggezhuang. The following is to start from the three aspects of regional location, geographical specialties and cultural attractions, and re-introduce. Since the town of Zhanggezhuang is located in Zhanggezhuang Village, the content inevitably focuses more on the village.

1. Zoning location

The town of Zhanggezhuang, located about thirty miles south of Fushan City, is easily recognizable on the map because of a narrow mountain in its jurisdiction that is wedged into the adjacent city of Qixia and looks like a "small tail."

Near the "tail root", there is a village called "Black Stone". If you strictly study the history, this may be the central village of the Zhanggezhuang area in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Because, according to the records of the Qing Dynasty's "Fushan County Chronicle", at that time, there was a "Black Stone Society" under the jurisdiction of Southeast Bao of Fushan County, but "Zhang Gezhuang" was not passed down.

In addition to the "Black Stone Society", according to the "Fushan District Gazetteer", there is still a part of the jurisdiction of Zhanggezhuang Town (probably the area around Hukou and Taitai) that belongs to the former Tiger Shrine.

Zhang Gezhuang officially became the name of the district in the 1960s. In 1962, 22 villages, including ZhangGezhuang and Fengjia, were separated from Menlou Commune to form Zhanggezhuang Commune. In 1970, Hukou, Taitai, Quanjia, Wenjia, and Zhengzhijiao were transferred from Gaoxuan Commune. Later, the commune was changed to a township, and the township was changed to a town, forming the current Zhanggezhuang Town.

Combined with the background of the times, the establishment of Zhanggezhuang Commune is closely related to the construction of the Menlou Reservoir. Because after the completion of the reservoir, the traffic distance from many villages to Menlou Village has greatly increased. From the point of view of ease of management, it is clear that there is a need for a new centre in the area south and west of the reservoir to the border with Qixia.

It is worth mentioning that as a township located at the junction of Fushan and Qixia, although Zhang Gezhuang is the jurisdiction of the former, it is not unrelated to the latter in terms of origin. In fact, the "little tail" on the map mentioned earlier was formed very late. Before the 1950s, several villages in The Mountain (Chakua, Nanmajia, Yaotai) were still under the jurisdiction of Qixia, and later assigned to Fushan. Historically, villages on both sides of this junction have moved around frequently for marriage, and Wang Yaping's grandmother's family is on the Qixia side of the junction.

2. Geographical specialties

Zhanggezhuang town is located in the upper reaches of the Menlou Reservoir, mountainous and hilly, such geographical conditions, very suitable for the cultivation of fruits.

Historically, the fruit varieties of Zhanggezhuang Town have also undergone several rounds of changes. In the beginning, traditional fruit cultivation was the main place, such as apricots, peaches, plums, etc. (the old apricot trees in Zhanggezhuang Village are examples). Later, apples began to be cultivated on a large scale. Around the 1990s, the big cherry sprang up, surpassing the apple in just a dozen years and becoming the leading industry in the local countryside, and the town also had the title of "China's first big cherry town". This comparison of data between different varieties is shown in detail at the Big Cherry Museum in the town of Zhanggezhuang.

The reason why Zhanggezhuang's large cherries are famous, in addition to being planted earlier, is also related to the special geological landform of the local area. The local area is limestone, the spring heats up quickly, and the cherry harvest time has obvious advantages over the surrounding townships. As far as the acquisitions over the years are concerned, the big cherry market in ZhangGezhuang has usually been bustling for several days, and other places have been opened one after another.

On the other hand, the abundant limestone resources also provide sufficient raw materials for processing cement, so cement is also a major local industry.

3. Humanistic attractions

In the jurisdiction of Zhanggezhuang Town, there are many villages with a long history, such as Louzikou, Fork, Black Stone and so on.

Among them, the place name Louzikou (Louzizhuang) is mentioned in the Literature related to Wang Chuyi (the Jade Yangzi of the Seven Sons of Quanzhen) in the Jin Dynasty, and the fork is said to be a village built by the common surname during the Dading period of the Jin Dynasty, and the black stone can become the name of the society from the Ming Dynasty, which obviously has a special background.

In contrast, the current town station, Zhang Gezhuang, the place where Wang Yaping was born and raised, has not been too long (late Ming).

According to the "Chronicle of Geographical Names in Fushan District", "It is said that the surname Of Jiang moved from Yunnan to build a village in the late Ming Dynasty, and the initial name was Jiang Gezhuang, and the surnames of Zhang, Wang, Wu, Liang, Li, Xu, and Lü in the Qing Dynasty moved in successively. Because the Zhang surname multiplied rapidly, the number of people Ding Wang and the number of households was large, so the village of Zhang Gezhuang was named after the Zhang surname. Later, the surnames of Yu, Gao, Jiang, Sun, and Huang moved here. After years of development, the surname structure in the village has changed (Wang surname, Wu surname is the big surname), but the name "Zhang Gezhuang" has continued.

Where did Zhang Gezhuang's wang surname come from? No genealogy has been seen. The Wu surname is said to be related to the village of Wuyangquan on the outskirts of Fukuyama.

In addition, the Quan surname of Quan Jia Shan, the Jin surname of Horseshoe, and the Che family's Che surname are also relatively special surnames. Other villages are dominated by common surnames such as Wang, Jiang, Sun, and Zhao, and they are not all there.

In terms of places of interest, in addition to the well-known Ao'an Temple, The ZhangGezhuang Primary School, where Wang Yaping once attended, was once an ancient temple. Later, due to the conversion into a school, the original appearance of the ancient temple is no longer visible, but the ancient tree of Huanglianmu, which has a history of hundreds of years, still stands in the courtyard. When the movie "Xiyingmen" was filmed in the 1980s, the courtyard was used as the location of the "veterinary station" where Chen Renwen worked.

"Xiyingmen" was filmed in 1981, and Wang Yaping was born in 1980, which should not be remembered at that time. (Author: Ear Left Moon)
