The long-awaited second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is finally coming, and the long-awaited "dead-end road" can finally be completed. But this national trunk railway, which has been planned since seven years ago, is now being made like a provincial ring line by Shandong, and many netizens who have seen the planning map have said, do you want to go around the Jiaodong Peninsula directly?
Speaking of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, this is really a model of "high-speed rail, gold 10,000 taels", it not only runs at the world's highest speed, but also covers Beijing, Tianjin, Cangzhou, Jinan, Xuzhou, Bengbu, Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai and other cities, these provinces and cities account for 40% of the country's total GDP and 25% of the country's total population, so since the official opening in 2011, it has brought a huge economic effect.
At that time, when the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway was built, it avoided the northern Jiangsu region and chose to take Anhui, so northern Anhui became the biggest beneficiary of this plan, and Anhui became the second province of "city-to-city high-speed rail", and the location advantage was greatly improved.
Unexpectedly, this also directly led to the frequent obstruction of the second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway in the planning, and now in Shandong, it is "not taking the usual road". It is said that when planning the route, Shandong insisted on the high-speed rail route to the Jiaodong Peninsula. Originally, the direction of the Weifang to Linyi section has three planning options: the west line, the middle line and the east line, among which the smallest amount of work is the west line, and the three cities of Linyi, Weifang and Rizhao are taken care of, and the middle line is counted, but the final outcome is to choose the east line, which is also the biggest turning plan, the reason is to be able to take care of Zhucheng and Juxian, which are several populous cities.
The National Railway Group was naturally dissatisfied with this plan, but in order to satisfy its own selfishness, Shandong made a promise that the extra funds for the detour would be borne by Shandong Province itself, so the plan was finalized.
So what exactly does Shandong want to do? The answer, of course, is for urban development. According to today's planning, after the official operation of the second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, the relatively weak situation of high-speed rail in the coastal areas of Shandong can be greatly improved, with the help of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail and the second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, Shandong Province and Beijing and Shanghai are more closely connected, and also provide innate conditions for integrating into the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta economic circles, so even if it is now paying more energy and financial resources, Shandong must also detour this route to the Jiaodong Peninsula to turn a corner.
But for the entire second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, the benefits are much less. Even if the construction cost incurred because of this circle is paid by Shandong Province out of its own pocket, the fare of the high-speed rail in the future will still have to be paid from the people's own pockets, and the detour operation means that the fare will be higher, and the time will be longer. At that time, the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway had a total of 22 stations, and the second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway had more than 40 stations, which was twice the number, and if you want to run the whole journey, it will take 6 hours at the earliest.
So if this is the case, the completion of the second line of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway will be a lot weakened for the cities along the line except for some cities in Shandong, and the economic benefits that can be brought will naturally be greatly reduced. As one of the few profitable high-speed railways, the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway can have an annual net profit of more than 10 billion yuan before the epidemic.
