On December 23, the "GREAT Bay Area Youth Film and Television Training Camp" jointly sponsored by Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Macau University of Science and Technology, and Lingnan University of Hong Kong was successfully concluded.

The theme of this year's training camp is "Humanistic Bay Area: Yunfu Image", and a total of 42 outstanding students from universities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao participated in the training, focusing on the three directions of "urban culture", "rural revitalization" and "innovation and entrepreneurship". Each of the universities in the three regions selected 2 professional instructors and 1 team leader to participate in the creative guidance, and jointly completed the team building, theme discussion, planning and screenwriting and other links.
From fish curd production to stone carving skills, from cinnamon processing to rice roll cooking, from the interpretation of Helou dance to the transformation of the winery, teachers and students stepped on the dawn and night, went deep into many counties and industries in Yunfu, Guangdong, and used images to tell the story of the Bay Area in their eyes, leaving a light and shadow imprint of the common struggle of young people in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
The "Luoding Upstart" group tells the story of the Yunfu people in the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage such as fish curd and bamboo steamer through the lens, allowing us to see the tenacity, strength and perseverance of the Yunfu people; the "Luoding Upstart" group shows the Zhengzheng process of Yunfu people exploring the road to prosperity by telling the story of innovation and entrepreneurship in the cinnamon industry, and the "Stone Rhyme Painting Shadow" group shows the ingenuity inheritance of Yunfu stone art through the display of Qiaocai jade carving techniques.

The students admitted that they also encountered difficulties and challenges in the creative process, but everyone was able to actively find solutions in cooperation and give full play to everyone's strengths. The one-week intensive creation not only broadened my horizons, increased my understanding of the cultural history and economic development of the Greater Bay Area, but also exchanged learning Xi and gained deep friendship.
It is reported that the "GREAT Bay Area Youth Film and Television Training Camp" was originally jointly initiated by the Bay Area Film and Television Industry College of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics and the Film School of Macau University of Science and Technology, and has received wide attention from the society and the love of students, and then expanded to be jointly organized by the three places. The micro-film "Lion Brothers", the result of the 2023 Spring Camp "Foshan Tour, Bay Area Love" activity, won the Outstanding Work Award of the first "Jinhua Award" of the 8th China Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival, and was shortlisted for the 13th Macao Short Film Festival 2023.
