It is reported that this year, a total of 24 participants and 20 instructors from 4 continents of the "Outstanding Mentor and Coach Program", and these students and mentors from different countries and regions, will start a cross-cultural exchange and learning Xi journey through this event.
The participants in this program are mainly divided into two parts, one is the competition officials from various countries, and the other is the excellent coaches from various countries, and the mentor team is also a well-known expert and top referee of the ITTF who has been carefully selected.
During these 4 months, students will work closely with their teachers, who will also provide targeted tutoring to each student's expertise to ensure that each student can learn.
In addition, students will participate in 8 virtual seminars and research projects, and after the completion of the projects, they will demonstrate their understanding of the topics by conducting case studies of the research results of the projects.
Throughout the Xi process, ITTF also attaches great importance to the inclusiveness of the program, whether it is in the selection of students or the formation of the mentor team, the issue of gender balance is fully considered, so as to ensure that every student can receive fair Xi learning opportunities and treatment.
