In 1950, the Korean Peninsula was hit by extremely cold weather not seen in 50 years, and the temperature in Changjin Lake in November was as low as minus 30 or 40 degrees Celsius.
At that time, the conditions were difficult, and the volunteers wore thin military uniforms, grabbed snow and put it in their mouths when they were thirsty, and ate frozen potatoes and fried noodles when they were hungry. (Boiled potatoes are frozen into ice lumps, and fried noodles are fried flour)
And the US military wore very warm military uniforms, ate turkey, and drank coffee.
It was such a big gap that our great volunteers brutally beat the US military to the negotiating table.
Many martyrs sacrificed their precious lives for the motherland, their families, and the people.
