The old clothes go out and return home
In 1984, Wang Xianjun was born in Rongkou Township, Qimen County. After graduating from high school at the age of 17, Wang Xianjun left his hometown. With this spirit, Wang Xianjun went to Hangzhou to work hard. Wang Xianjun said that as a native of Qimen, he still wanted to do something for his hometown.
Huangshan City is less than 300 kilometers away from Hangzhou, and also has the geographical advantage of Hangzhou's garment industry to move outward. After investigation, Wang Xianjun found that in his hometown of Qimen, thousands of people are engaged in the garment industry. Among these thousands of people, about 90% of them were returnees with children or elderly people at home to take care of, but at that time, most of the garment industry in Qimen was an informal small factory, and the safety hazards were relatively large. But if these factories are shut down, the employment of thousands of people will become a problem again. Since we can't shut down these small factories and provide jobs, it is necessary to build a compliant hardware such as fire safety, so that the industry can hold together and form a cohesive force while solving the problem of potential safety hazards. Wang Xianjun thus came up with the idea of setting up a garment industrial park in Qimen.
In 2017, Wang Xianjun returned to Qimen and bought an idle unfinished factory covering an area of 40 acres. After buying the factory, Wang Xianjun suggested to the county government whether it was possible to set up a garment association and then use the idle factory to plan and build a garment industrial park. With the strong support of the county party committee and county government, the garment association was established, with Wang Xianjun as the president. At the same time, he invested more than 100 million yuan for the construction of the garment industrial park. In 2022, the industrial park will be officially completed and put into operation.
The industrial park integrates the market and gives back to the government
Originally, small-scale family workshops were concentrated in the community, the stores were dilapidated, and the safety hazards were large, and many orders were afraid to be sent here. After the completion of the Turandot Garment Industrial Park, a standardized and standardized factory building was created, and large companies came to the door, and everyone worked together to form a joint force, and the orders came, and the industry gradually gathered. "The industrial park has three advantages. Wang Xianjun said: "The first is to solve the problem of potential safety hazards, the second is our industrial newspaper group heating, and the third is that our upper and lower chains can be tied together." "The so-called upper and lower chains mean that there are many supporting industrial chains in the industrial park, such as accessories, fabrics, threads, and cutting...... After the establishment of the industrial park, it also brought feedback to the government. Originally, the garment industry practitioners in Qimen County were basically self-employed, and through the industrial chain connection established by Wang County's army, some self-employed people were cultivated into enterprises. "At present, Wang Xianjun's source of income in Qimen is the rent of the industrial park, which can be about six or seven million a year, which is not much compared to the more than 100 million he invested. Back in his hometown, although he paid a lot of money to invest in the industrial park, there were both risks and pressures, but he returned to his roots and had a sense of belonging. In addition, it has solved part of the employment problems for his hometown, provided a good platform for many villagers who have returned to their hometowns to start businesses, and also gave him a strong sense of achievement. "A lot of people who work outside also want to come back to set up factories, many of them did not have standardized sites before, but now they have venues in the park, including some policy issues that many people who return to their hometowns do not understand, I can also provide services, and the sense of belonging and accomplishment of this kind of wanderer returning to his hometown is indeed different. Wang Xianjun said that all the enterprises settled in the industrial park, he will help solve two major problems. The first is the issue of the order. In this way, the enterprises in the industrial park will only be responsible for production wholeheartedly, and Wang Xianjun can help solve all other problems. In terms of taxation, many self-employed people don't understand these things, so we hired a professional accounting firm to serve them. In addition, once or twice a year, we invite the tax department to do special training, including training on labor law and safety law, and the park is also equipped with safety officers to patrol, so that enterprises do not have to take care of anything except production. ”
His sense of responsibility is also reflected in the heart of his employees. Wang Xianjun has arranged a "mother post" in the industrial park, which is a highly mobile way of working, with relatively flexible working hours and management methods, which is convenient for employees to take care of work and childcare.
