10 Engagements is a 2008 film by Japanese director Katsuei Motoki based on Haruhi Kawaguchi's novel 10 Pacts with Dogs, starring Mayuko Fukuda, Yuji Toyokawa, and Reiko Takashima. It was released on January 26, 2009 at the Chinese mainland Theater.

The film tells the story of the young girl Xiaoqing who adopts a stray dog, names it Socks and makes ten pacts with it. After graduation, her busy life made it impossible for her to take care of her socks, but when she needed help, socks came to help as before.

Xiao Qing remembered one of the ten conventions: the dog can only live for about ten years, so please try to be with it. Ten years have passed since the day I first met the socks.
