On October 9, the 2021 annual meeting of the Chinese Confucius Society and the academic seminar on "The Modern Transformation of Chinese Psychology" were held in Guiyang Confucius Xuetang, and more than 100 Confucian experts and scholars from all over the country gathered together to talk about the development of mind science.

It is reported that the meeting was sponsored by the Chinese Confucius Society, the Guiyang Confucius Academy Cultural Dissemination Center, and the Lu Jiuyuan Research Committee of the Chinese Confucius Society. During the two-day conference, the participating experts and scholars discussed the creative development and innovative transformation of Chinese psychology in the current situation through the form of conference reports and group discussions, focusing on the creative development and innovative transformation of Chinese psychology at present, from the ideological resources of mind science, the characteristics of mind science in various eras and the era value of mind science.

Xu Jing said at the opening ceremony that she hoped that the participating experts could find more constructive theories and viewpoints from the perspective of different disciplines, put forward more enlightening, original and systematic opinions and suggestions, and push the transformation of modernity of Chinese psychology to a new high ground.

After the opening ceremony, 15 experts and scholars, including Gu Jiu, Guo Qiyong, Xu Xi, Zhang Xinmin, Wu Zhen, and Ding Weixiang, made speeches at the conference, expounding their historical research and contemporary value of psychology.

In Zhang Xinmin's view, Luo Rufang, an important representative figure of the Taizhou School, is not only a communicator between the intellectual elite and the common people, but also an integrator of the two cultures of large tradition and small tradition, and through his lifelong journey and speech and language, he can also get a glimpse of the common value demands and ideological and theoretical characteristics of Taizhou Wangxue.

As a research expert rooted in Guizhou and deeply excavating yangming culture, Xu Ji explained the value and significance of Yangming xinxue that originated in Guizhou at present by telling the historical origins of Wang Yangming and Guizhou. Generally speaking, there can be no distance between moral cognition and moral practice, and the size of this distance determines the character of a reader. What Wang Yangming wants to achieve is the 'zero distance' between the two, which is the 'way of the saints' that he has been pursuing all his life, and it is also the destination of his mental thinking. This mental journey began 500 years ago in his life practice in Guizhou. Xu Xi said.
