The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

Human beings have created rich dietary Xi customs in the long-term practice of social production and life, including tea drinking Xi customs. China is a famous tea country, and tea drinking has a long historical tradition. The Chaoshan people, mainly immigrants from the Central Plains, have created a distinctive Chaoshan gongfu tea culture while inheriting the traditional tea drinking Xi of the ethnic group and combining with local realities.

Chaoshan people call tea "tea rice", which shows the lofty status of gongfu tea in the daily life of Chaoshan people. There is a saying in Chaoshan: "Sit in the study, drink hot (hot) tea", which reflects the Chaoshan people's addiction to gongfu tea. Chaoshan people worship their ancestors and worship the gods very commonly, tea is a must-have product...... "where there are Chaoshan people, there is gongfu tea", "if you can speak Chaoshan dialect, you will definitely be able to get a cup of tea to drink", Chaoshan people at home and abroad have a strong gongfu tea complex. "High Rush and Low Sprinkling", "Guan Gong Patrol City", "Han Xin Point Soldiers"...... It shows the fine cultural characteristics of Gongfu tea, embodies the cultural spirit of "harmony, love, refinement, cleanliness and thought", and strongly shows that Chaoshan Gongfu tea is the "peak of tea culture", and Chaoshan Gongfu tea ceremony "can be called the representative of Chinese tea ceremony". In the distinctive Chaoshan gongfu tea culture created by Chaoshan people, there are rich and colorful gongfu tea stories.

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

The story of Gongfu tea is first and foremost the source of tea, that is, the story of the tea species. There are two legendary stories about "Song tea" in Chaoshan folk, namely the "Song tea" of Chao'an Phoenix Mountain and the story of "Song tea" in the back garden of Nanao, both of which are related to Emperor Song of Song.

Legend has it that at the end of the Song Dynasty, Emperor Zhao Yu and his ministers were chased and killed by the Yuan soldiers, and fled to Phoenix Wugu Mountain, tired and thirsty...... At this time, a cloud floated in the air, accompanied by a phoenix bird, a bunch of tea branches and a pair of tea fruits in his mouth, threw them in front of Zhao Hao, and left with a long song. Some ministers knew that this was the branch, leaf and fruit of tea, so they picked the tender tea leaves, dedicated Zhao Yu, and chewed them in their mouths to quench their thirst and share them with great refreshment. For the rest of the tea fruits, Zhao Yuban took out the tea seeds, picked up the soil and sowed the tea seeds in the ground, and said: "Let this tea grow in Wugu Mountain." Soon, patches of tea trees grew in the foothills of Wugu Mountain. So far, there is still the only ancient tea tree that is hundreds of years old in Wugu Mountain, the name of "Song Chong" tea comes from this, and because the tea is brought by the phoenix bird, it is also called "bird's beak" tea.

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

"Song Chong" tea has been carefully cultivated and screened by Phoenix tea farmers for hundreds of years, and has cultivated a variety of fragrance types of Dancong tea from the "Song Chong" tea, including "Tongtian Huang", "Night Primrose", "Zhilan Fragrance", "Yellow Branch Fragrance", "Cinnamon Fragrance" and so on. Phoenix single bush tea is brewed, the tea color is bright and golden, the sweetness is strong, with the floral fragrance of the attack, even if it is brewed many times, it is still full of aroma, taste it slowly, it is sweet and refreshing, the aftertaste is endless, it is a treasure in the drink, it is well-known throughout the country, and it is well-known in five continents.

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Emperor Zhao of the Song Dynasty fled to Nanao, came to the foot of Guolao Mountain, saw that this place is surrounded by mountains, the scenery is beautiful, the mountains are full of rhododendrons, and can not help but be full of praise, and named this place "back garden". During the break, the emperor instructed his retinue to bring tea to drink, and the retinue said to the emperor, "There is no tea here." The emperor pointed to a plant next to him and said, "This is the tea leaves, which can be soaked in water and drunk." It is also strange to say that although these wild leaves, although they have not been processed, fermented, and made like tea leaves, they are brewed with boiling water, and they are full of fragrance and unique flavor, and they are contrary to ordinary tea leaves. The first few brews, the primary color and taste are lighter, but with the increase in the number of brewing, the primary color is getting stronger and stronger, the taste is getting better and better, after dozens of brews, the original color does not retreat, and later generations call these magical plants "Song tea".

Although after several years of sleeping in the rough, these wild plants have never been lost. According to local people in their 80s, when "Japanese Aberdeen" was strong in South Australia, "Song tea" was once dug up. But after the surrender of "Nippon", miraculously reappeared. Since ancient times, many people have known that "Song tea" was sealed by the emperor, and tried every means to transplant it, but they were unsuccessful, and even the mountain village adjacent to the back garden was difficult to grow. This is to put a layer of mystery on "Song Tea".

Green tea is one of the main types of tea in mainland China, ranking first among the six primary teas in the country. It is not very popular for Chaoshan people to drink green tea, but there is a folk legend about the origin of green tea.

Legend has it that in ancient times, there was a farmer in Chiqiuxi Village, under Xiaobei Mountain, the capital of Lantian in Jieyi, whose surname was Lin Mingxiang. One day, he took a knife and a sharp shoulder to cut wood in the mountains of Geping, far away from the village. At noon, he squatted under a towering boulder, lit a fire to cook, and was just about to eat, when suddenly, a strange bird flew from the air, stopped on the stone, and from time to time made a cry of "sighing". Lin Xiang was very strange in his heart: "Why have I never seen this kind of bird." After a while, the bird screamed three times, cocked its tail, as if it had dropped a heap or something, and flew away. With curiosity, Lin Xiang climbed the boulder, and found that there was a pile of guano left there, and he played with a branch, and saw a finger-sized tree seed in it, so he mixed a handful of soil from the ground, covered the seed, and then went to chop wood.

Three years later, in the spring. Lin Xiang came here again to cut firewood, and found that a small sapling had grown in the gap in the stone wall. He climbed the vine and pulled the vine, came to the rock, picked its leaves and put them on his mouth, and felt that the taste was sweet and sweet, and quenched his thirst, so he took great pains to raise the little sapling with the tip of an iron cone, and took it home and planted it on the hillside behind the village. Year after year, he has taken care of the tree to flourish. Lin Xiang often picks young leaves and soaks them in water to drink. Once, if I picked too much, I was afraid that I would lose my umami after staying for a long time, so I kneaded it over slow heat and stored it. When you want to drink it, brew it with boiling water, which tastes better. So, he picked the seeds of the tree, planted them, and named it "Bird Peck Tea". This is the green tea that has been planted to this day.

In addition to the legend of "Song Tea", there is also the story of Qinghu bitter tea.

A long time ago, there lived a hard-working and kind couple in a few thatched huts in Qinghu Mountain on the top of Wugu, the husband was named Ah Qin, and the wife was called Ah Xiu. They have been cultivating wasteland for many years, planting hundreds of tea trees, and making more than 100 catties of good tea every year. However, the price of tea is cheap, the price of rice is expensive, and the money for tea sold in a hard year is only enough to buy half a year's grain, and life is really sad.

One year, it was the time to pick spring tea, and there was no rice in the rice jar, so Ah Qin had to run out of the mountain and borrow money from the rich man of the tea shop to buy rice. After picking half of the tea, I wanted to feed the child, but I ran under the tea tree to see that the tea basket was empty and the child was gone. She was so anxious that she searched left and right, and finally found a big python lying there sleeping in the ravine, with a swollen belly, and a child's little red cloth shoes beside it. Ah Xiu understood, and the child gave the python to eat in his stomach.

She picked up the tea and went home crying miserably.

As soon as she entered, the rich man's man from the tea shop was waiting for her in the house. The man said: "The money that your family borrowed from the rich man last year, and the mother Gali folded a total of 500 catties of tea, and it was paid in ten days, 50 catties a day. "My man only went to the rich man's house to ......" "I've seen it, don't wait for him to come back, I have to pay tea now." The guy checked the tea green that Ah Xiu picked up, and it was estimated that it was less than fifty catties, so he pushed her out of the door and said, "Go pick tea!" Ah Xiu had no choice but to pick up the tea basket and go to the tea garden to pick tea. While picking, while crying, the tea leaves are soaked with tears. The sun set, Ah Xiu looked at the tea basket, knew that Cha Qing couldn't get that number, and felt sad and hateful, so he pulled a piece of evergreen vine and hung himself on the tea tree.

The next day, Ah Qin learned that Ah Xiu and the child were dead, so he climbed over the back wall of the rich man's house and fled back to Qinghu Mountain. He rushed to the tea plantation, picked up the dead Ah Xiu from the tea tree, cried for a while, and then buried Ah Xiu on the spot. He thought that his child had been eaten by a snake and his wife had been forced to die, so what was the use of living by himself? So he hit his head on the tea tree, and the blood flowed down the tea tree in the tea garden.

As soon as Ah Qin and his wife died, the tea garden was occupied by the rich man. The tea leaves of the Qin family were originally sweet and fragrant, but since the tragic death of the family, the tea made by the rich man has become bitter and astringent, and the tea has also become vermilion. It is said that the bitter taste is soaked out of Ah Xiu's tears, and the vermilion is dyed by Ah Qin's blood, so people call this tea "Qinghu bitter tea".

There are good tea varieties to have good tea, and tea is very important for gongfu tea. In addition to tea, Chaoshan folk also have the so-called tea mother, and the folk spread the story of "Guanghui monk's tea mother".

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

Earlier, there was a Jiawangji Tea House in Shantou Port, which was famous for selling famous tea. One day, the boss learned from a Fujian merchant that there was a Guanghui monk in Lingxiao Temple in Wuyi Mountain, who made a good tea. At that moment, he sent the most capable man to Jinxi, and brought fifty taels of silver to Lingxiao Temple to buy tea.

When Jin Xi arrived at the foot of Wuyi Mountain, he inquired with the locals, only to learn that the monk Guanghui was an abbot with a strange temper, and if you bought tea from him, he would drive you down the mountain. Jinxi had the bottom in his heart, so he went to Lingxiao Temple. Seeing Monk Guanghui, Jin Xi pretended that he had come to Fujian to do business, and made a special detour up the mountain to visit the elders. Monk Guanghui was very happy after hearing this, and hurriedly invited him to the temple to rest.

After staying in Xi, I found that the monk Guanghui was very hospitable, and every day there were more than three old friends who were left in the temple to stay, chant poems and paint together, play chess and taste tea, and when parting, let the little monk send a small bag of tea to each person. Jinxi is a well-behaved person, not only often accompanied Monk Guanghui to play chess and drink tea, but also asked someone to buy some rice paper for him to paint, Monk Guanghui was very happy. After more than two months, Jinxi found that there were less than ten taels of silver left, but the tea had not yet arrived, and he was bored in bed.

I didn't want to be at this time, but the monk Guanghui came in and invited him to admire the moon in front of the temple, and when he saw that he was worried, he asked him what he was worried about. At this point, Jinxi had to tell the truth. When Monk Guanghui heard this, he sighed repeatedly: "Ouch, why didn't you say it earlier!" As he spoke, he went to fetch a small bag of tea and said, "Sin! Sin! There is only so little left in the treasury, the little donor will take it back and explain it to your boss truthfully." ”

When Jin Xi returned to Shantou Port, although the boss said that he was very self-contained, he was inevitably cloudy, and he didn't even look at the small bag of tea, and then threw it into the corner. The guys in the store knew that the boss was angry, and no one dared to pick it up.

Two days later, there was a strong typhoon, the sea water poured into Shantou Port, the momentum was fierce, the boss asked the man to move the stock of tea upstairs, and he took his wife and children back to his hometown in Chaozhou City to avoid the flood. After the water receded, the boss returned to Shantou, and before entering the store, he smelled the fragrance of tea, he knew that this was the fresh smell of special tea, and opened the door into the small living room, and felt that the room was full of refreshing tea. He wondered in his heart, when the flood was blowing, all the tea leaves were carried upstairs, where did the smell of tea come from? The boss was puzzled, and Jin Xi suddenly shouted: "I know, this tea fragrance is unique to the tea leaves of Monk Guanghui, and it must be the fragrance of the small bag of tea leaves that are soaked in water." You see, there's a layer of tea dregs on this wall!" the boss listened but didn't believe it, thinking that Jinxi was still excusing himself.

However, since then, the business of Wangji Tea House has been particularly prosperous, and the entire Xiantoubu has said that Wangji Tea House has entered a batch of special Fujian tea. The boss remembered Jinxi's words, and carefully inspected the tea residue on the wall, thinking that maybe the old monk gave some kind of rare divine tea, so he decided to let Jinxi go to Wuyi Mountain again. He gave Jinxi a hundred taels of silver, saying that if he could buy a thousand catties of tea, it would be a great thing. Familiar with the door, Jinxi soon met Monk Guanghui. He told all the things he had encountered after returning and the purpose of this visit. The elder asked, "How much silver did you bring?" Jinxi said, "One hundred taels." ”

When the elder heard this, he raised his face and laughed: "You rich man is really worthy of being a merchant! Little benefactor, you have come to me twice, and you have only brought a total of 150 taels of silver, and it is not enough to buy half a tael of tea leaves from my previous time! I only gave it to you at that time when I saw that you were sincere." Don't you know that I'm the tea mother!" "Tea mother?" It's like yeast. There is a mountain of tea piled up in your store, as long as you hide the tea mother in it, after one night, the tea leaves of Pupu Tong will also become good tea. ”

"Elder, be merciful and give me another small packet. If it weren't for the bag of tea mother being washed away by the water, the villain wouldn't dare to ask for help again. "Isn't the walls of your little parlor covered with tea dregs? In the future, just pile the tea in the hall, close the doors and windows, and after one night, the tea will become a good product again. ”

Jin Xi returned to Shantou Port and told the boss what he said, and the boss did so, and it worked, and he made a fortune since then.

Tea utensils are undoubtedly important utensils for gongfu tea, especially the small cans, and the Mengchen cans produced in Yixing, Jiangsu Province are the most famous. Fengxi in Chaozhou is the famous "porcelain capital", and the vermilion hand-pulled pot produced in Chaozhou is also famous all over the world. The second story of Chaoshan Gongfu Tea is the story of tea utensils. Regarding the origin of the Teochew vermilion hand-pulled pot, there is a story among the people.

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

Before the middle of the Qing Dynasty, most of the teapots used by the hipsters came from Yixing, Jiangsu, so they were also called Su pots, especially the small round pots made by Hui Mengchen were the most popular among the hipsters. Hui Mengchen was a famous purple clay pot maker in the Ming Dynasty, how could ordinary tea drinkers have the qualifications? In order to meet the "psychological needs", the trend of imitating Mengchen pots began to prevail in Chaozhou. Hipsters are ingenious, and imitation can be almost real. Everyone also knows that they are using a "copycat version" of Su cans, but what they are obsessed with is the "Mengchen" or "Hui Mengchen" inscription, so it doesn't matter if you are a copycat or not, there are also local brands, no matter how exquisite they are, few people care.

Due to an "accident" of a businessman, the teapot pinched by a Chaozhou craftsman finally stopped dodging, this person is named Zhang Dengjing, a businessman. Zhang Dengjing once traveled to Yixing, Jiangsu Province, and bought a genuine Mengchen pot, which has been with him for decades, and does not drink the tea brewed with this pot. One day, Mr. Zhang accidentally broke the treasure Mengchen pot, and the pain in his heart can be imagined, but he loves face very much, and he is afraid that this matter will be spread and people will laugh at it. He had to ask the local pot maker to secretly make a copy for him, and he said that he would not tell the secret to outsiders. This pot maker really made a so-called "Mengchen" pot for him. He continued to make tea in this pot and continued to show off in this pot.

Zhang Dengjing was born in Xianpu Village, Chaozhou, Taoxiang, and once pinched a teapot when he was a teenager, and Su can also be pinched decently. I play with the "Mengchen" pot imitated by others all day long, and I want to try my skills when I play with it, and I want to try my craft. So, he immediately started tinkering. Hey, the "copycat version of Mengchen pot" was finally born in his hand! Compared with the two pots, he couldn't even tell the truth from the fake, and he was so proud. Soon after, he gave the cottage pot to a businessman from other places, who thought he had won the authentic Mengchen and was very happy. Mr. Zhang was also happy to laugh and tell the truth. When the merchant heard this, he was even more pleased, and said, "It is not easy for your old gentleman to be able to make such a subtle fake Mengchen, and I will certainly treasure it!" As soon as the news spread, friends in the business circles rushed to ask him for it. Chao merchants have always paid attention to the exchange of gifts and gifts in business, and Zhang Dengjing personally kneaded clay into pots to give to business friends. In his later years, he passed on the pot art to the second son Zhenzhao and the third son Zhenmei.

The shopping mall has changed, Zhang's other businesses have stopped one after another, and the willows and willows have been planted unintentionally, and the things that are idle have become the main business. In 1930, Zhang's "Yude Hall" was officially opened, and a new page was opened in the history of Chaozhou pot making. After Yude Hall, the old Anshun Zhang's, Yuanxing Bingji Wu's and so on have also played their own shop numbers, after more than half a century of exploration, from Chaozhou's "Mengchen" pot, has gradually formed a set of process procedures different from Yixing purple clay pot, its biggest feature is that all are hand-kneaded, the material is also from the red clay of Chaozhou, so it is called "Chaozhou vermilion hand-pulled pot".

Chaozhou vermilion hand-pulled pot started from imitation, step by step, to today, has played its own brand, formed its own characteristics: vermilion shiny, delicate and small, is cute. Chaozhou pot has opened a posture to compete with Yixing pot for the market.

In the long-term life of drinking tea, Chaoshan people have formed a unique and colorful tea drinking customs, such as "three teas, four kicks, two kicks", "high flushing and low sprinkling" and so on. Therefore, the third aspect of the Chaoshan Gongfu tea story is the Gongfu tea story.

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

When Chaoshan people drink tea, in order to thank the host, the guest usually bends his finger first, and then taps the table with the back of the joint of the first section pointed out in the index finger, which is a necessary etiquette and politeness of the Chaoshan customs to show respect for the guest. It is said that this etiquette comes from the story of Qianlong when he went down to the south of the Yangtze River.

Legend has it that Qianlong and a minister came to a teahouse in the southern market to sit down. After the tea was served, Qianlong was not tired or thirsty because there were people waiting for him along the way, and he still talked and laughed. However, his subordinates were tired all the way, thirsty, and anxious to drink tea to quench their thirst. It is said that every time he sat down to drink tea before this, Emperor Qianlong drank tea first, and there was no problem. But this time, the Son of Heaven didn't feel thirsty, so he was not in a hurry to drink tea, and his subordinates waited for a long time, and the emperor's hand still didn't touch the cup. But the courtier was unwilling to "remind" the emperor for this matter, let alone hold a cup of tea in front of the true dragon emperor, otherwise he could be convicted according to the law and said "rude in front of the king", which would be killed, and because he was out on patrol at the moment, he could not say it clearly in front of others. In his eagerness, he came up with this accommodating method, using his bent fingers to tap continuously on the side of the teacup to indicate that his subordinates offered tea, and the action of retracting his fingers represented kneeling.

This action was originally an ancient expression of the meaning of maintaining the authority of the king, and the Chaoshan folk quoted it on the occasion of drinking gongfu tea, which was an extension of its respect for guests.

In the understanding of Chaoshan old tea customers, the thicker the tea stains in the teapot, the higher the value of the teapot, because the tea flavor is stronger and more fragrant, so there is generally no need to rinse the teapot, but some people "fake the tea residue".

Once upon a time, there was a family whose teapot had a thick layer of tea stains, even if the boiled water could be brewed out of the fragrant tea, the family regarded it as a family heirloom. Later, the family married a daughter-in-law, and the daughter-in-law began to take care of the household on the third day after she passed the door. When the family went out, the daughter-in-law saw that the tea set that the family was drinking tea was so dirty, so she took out the whole set of tea sets and cleaned them, and wiped them clean inside and out. When the family came back, he said with a smile: "You are really fake to wash the tea residue!"

In this way, "fake power to wash tea dregs" has become a Chaoshan proverb, saying that sometimes "force is better than laziness", and by extension, sometimes good intentions but bad things.

Drinking tea is a kind of enjoyment, but also a kind of happiness, a kind of etiquette communication, but sometimes it also makes jokes. Jokes are the fourth story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea.

"Drink, drink, get out"

There was a Chaoshan girl who had her first love with a young man from the north, and the girl made gongfu tea and invited him, pointing to the boiling pot by the door to urge him to drink tea quickly, while saying: "Drink it, drink it and get out, drink it and get out!" The young man from the north thought that the girl did not like it, and asked him to drink and get away, so he said, "Get out!" I didn't even drink the tea and got out of the door.

"Mizukome Juice Flow"

Once upon a time, a young man from the north became the son-in-law of a family in Chaoshan. The son-in-law visited his father-in-law's house for the first time, and his wife told him that he had to drink kung fu tea cup by cup, and he could not drink all three cups of tea on the tea tray. After listening carefully, the northern son-in-law nodded in agreement.

When he arrived at his father-in-law's house, his father-in-law made kung fu tea and invited him. The northern son-in-law remembered his wife's words and thought that he had to drink tea cup by cup every time, so his father-in-law drank every time he brewed tea. The father-in-law mistakenly thought that he was thirsty, so he kept making tea, one brew after another, and the son-in-law was so hungry that his head was sweating, and he secretly complained bitterly. Later, when he saw that the water in the pot was boiling again, he was so anxious that he burst into tears, and sighed: "Oh, the water is boiling again!"

The story was later spread as a joke by the locals, and the saying "water rolls and juice flows" was born. Nowadays, people often use this common saying to refer to things that some people can't afford, don't force yourself, otherwise you won't be able to bear it, and eventually make a joke.

The above two Chaoshan gongfu tea jokes are not used to ridicule outsiders, to be precise, they are due to the differences between northern culture and Chaoshan culture.

"Bubble tea loss of 30 yuan"

In the early 50s of last century, a large number of northern cadres went south to serve as leaders in various departments in Chaoshan, and at first they often made jokes because they did not understand the Xi of Chaoshan people drinking gongfu tea.

There is an employee in a certain unit who is living in great difficulty, and on this day he filled out the welfare application form and asked for a subsidy of 30 yuan. The welfare team agreed, but when it was submitted to the leader for approval, he simply did not agree and did not give any reason. After some time, at the plenary meeting, he criticized the comrade who applied for the welfare allowance without naming him, saying that while he was sleeping, he heard that the comrade next door was still eating and drinking, "eat", "eat" and shouting, and the sound of cups and plates clinking resounded late at night, and he dared to apply for the subsidy the next day. As a result, the joke of "losing 30 yuan for eating tea" spread.

"Boiling Tea"

In the past, gongfu tea was not popular among the people of Chaoshan. Once, a man met a friend on the road and invited him to his home for a cup of gongfu tea. He bought a bag of good tea and went home and asked his wife to "make tea" to eat. The wife was married from other places, and she didn't know how the Chaoshan people ate tea, so she mistakenly cooked the tea leaves like cooking needle vegetables and took them out on the plate. When the man saw this, he was furious and hit his wife twice. His wife felt aggrieved and quarreled with him. The noise alarmed the neighbors, and an old woman came to persuade her, and after asking the reason, she grabbed a handful of boiled tea leaves and put them in her mouth, chewed them a few times, and said: "You should fight, how can you eat this kind of tea without putting some salt and oil?"

"Vegetable soup next door"

In the past, the trend of gathering friends to drink gongfu tea in Chaoshan countryside had not yet been popularized. In a certain village, there are two peasant households, A and B, who live apart by a wall, and because of the enmity, they do not communicate with each other, but they are not convinced by each other. One night, the A family invited relatives and friends to drink gongfu tea, "Please wow, eat wow, you're welcome!" and the clamming of cups and plates from time to time reached the partition wall, and the night was closed. The man of the B family said to his wife in confusion: "The family next door is not richer than me, why do they have so many drinks and food?" That night, the two agreed that they would also invite friends to "eat" vegetable soup tomorrow night, plus sweet potatoes, and they must surpass the next door. The next night, the guests invited by the B family ate all the sweet potato soup and left, and the sound of cups and plates clashing next door was still heard until late at night. Otosuma said to the villagers at dawn: "There is really a way to make vegetable soup next door!"

Later, there was a saying in Chaoshan that "the vegetable soup next door" was circulated in various parts of Chaoshan, which was used to ridicule those who did not understand the other party's situation and blindly followed it but made a fool of themselves.

The story of Chaoshan Gongfu tea

"Good Tea - Burning"

In the past, there was a tea shop owner, in order to attract customers, specially placed a set of gongfu tea set on the counter, and often made tea, aiming to let customers taste tea before buying. One winter, the cold was pressing, and there were people all the way, who looked like scribes, with thin clothes, and shivering with cold. He paced to the counter and took a cup of tea and drank it down. The tea seller brews tea and then brews tea. Passers-by drank several glasses in a row. The tea seller was overjoyed, thinking it was a generous customer, so he asked, "Sir, how is this tea?" He replied, "Yes! Then he asked, "Sir, what's so good?" And he replied, "Burn!"

The fifth story of Chaoshan Gongfu Tea is tea and personnel. Chaoshan folk circulate a story of "life-saving tea".

In the past, there was a child named Ah Fu who studied in a private school. In order to get rid of her son who was not her own, his stepmother came up with a clever plan, and fried fragrant rice with a lot of lard for Ah Fu to eat three meals a day. Due to eating fatty things for a long time, Ah Fu soon developed severe dyspepsia, and his complexion became yellow and thin.

Ah Fuku's abnormal changes were discovered by the tutor, and when he asked about the situation, the tutor understood in his heart, but he did not show his face. The master has an ironclad Xi of life - he must make gongfu tea after meals. He then instructed Ah Fu to go to the teacher's room to drink a few cups of strong gongfu tea before the class every day in the afternoon, and told him that this matter must be kept secret and not let his stepmother know. The effect of gongfu tea to eliminate greasy accumulation has been fully exerted in Ah Fu, and a miracle has appeared, Ah Fu has not only gradually recovered his health, but also his spirit is getting better and better, and his academic Xi grades have skyrocketed. In this way, Gongfu tea has become Afu's "life-saving tea".

Chaoshan people are fond of drinking tea, and some people even become beggars because of this. "Good Tea Loser" is such a story.

When a beggar went to a large family to beg, he asked for no money or rice, but only begged for a good cup of tea. The host is a master of tea and asked someone to bring a cup of good tea to the door. The beggar drank it and said, "It's just a very ordinary tea." When the master heard this, he was shocked, and immediately ordered his wife to make the best cup of tea, and ordered someone to send it out.

After drinking it, the beggar commented, "This is quite good, but it can only be considered second-class", and asked if the tea was made by a lady with a certain surname. The master was even more shocked when he heard this, so he went to the door to see him in person, and under interrogation, he learned that the beggar was originally a rich man, and because of his hobby of high-quality rock tea, his family fell into the middle of the road, and now he has become a beggar, and he still carries an ancient teapot on his body. His separated wife happens to be the wife of the current owner. The master was shocked, so he had to watch the beggar drift away .......

"Good Tea Loser" tells the story of someone who breaks his home because he drinks good tea, and "Success or Failure is Tea Love" tells a story about a family that is ruined by drinking good tea and is blessed by misfortune.

In the past, there was a person who was addicted to tea and did not do his job, and finally led to the fall of his family and became a beggar, but even if he made a living from begging, he still couldn't quit his tea addiction. One day, he passed by a tea shop and saw that the boss was making gongfu tea, so he went up to beg for a drink. The boss looked at him suspiciously, and thought, "Do you beggars like to drink tea?" After he drank it, the boss deliberately asked: "What variety does this tea belong to?" He casually said the tea species and origin, and pointed out the shortcomings of this tea in the production by taste, and finally said: "Such a good tea, brewed with well water, is really a fly in the ointment!" He looked helpless and said, "If I have money to join the shares, I don't have to beg today." The boss said: "Don't be afraid, my shares will give you half, and you can buy shares with your skills." After the merger, because of his dedication, the business was really prosperous and the wealth was extensive. But the dividends paid to him by the boss month by month are always only enough for him to eat and wear. Although he was puzzled, he didn't want to ask more, because he knew that he had nothing.

Three years later, he returned home to visit his family, and before he entered the house, he was stunned that the dilapidated house had been renovated and enlarged several times. When I asked my family, I learned that the boss had transferred the dividends from his shares to his hometown year by year, and the family used the money to renovate the old house. Now, he finally understood the boss's good intentions.

As soon as he entered the door, he asked anxiously, "Uncle, did you pour out your tea meal just now?" What's the matter?" Uncle is still not angry. "Your tea is so good, I only drank two cups, and it was still sweet and fragrant in my throat, and I want to come back and drink two more cups. The uncle smiled and said, "You kid, if you said that just now, you would have brought the money with you." Eventually, he borrowed money from his uncle and returned happy.
