I often hear many readers say that they don't like their major or career, they don't know what they like, and they don't have a clear goal, how can they change the status quo?
My advice is that you think of yourself as a company and make a life strategy for yourself. To make a strategy, there are two steps: make a list of options and compare them to find the best solution.
In "The Winner's Mind", I have given a lot of cases of strategy, and here I will briefly talk about the three key points that are worth learning Xi.
01 Know yourself correctly
Knowing yourself is always one of the hardest things to do.
How do you know yourself? You have to look at what you have done before, you have to see what talent you really have, what is better than others.
You have to look at your own accumulation, how many books you have read before, how many roads you have traveled, how many famous universities you have attended, how many famous teachers have been trained, and how many decent things you have done.
Your understanding of yourself should not be based on illusion, but on facts, deeds speak louder than words, achievements are more important than theories, and practice is more important than theory.
02 Think about what you want to do?
Think about what to do. With a firm strategy, a person is not easy to be anxious in the face of ups and downs.
Strategy is important, it is not easy to think clearly about strategy, and it is even more difficult to implement strategy firmly. Actually, you have to think about what you're going to do, what cards you have in your hand, and how you're going to play.
The so-called strategic certainty is to figure out what to do and what not to do, and not to change because of the gains and losses of one time and one place or two years.
In the final analysis, the workplace is the workplace, the battlefield is the battlefield, the battlefield is the battlefield, and you still have to look at the people around you comprehensively. Some people have good brains, some people have high emotional intelligence, some people have many backgrounds, some people can work for a long time, some people are men, some people are women.
You have to analyze yourself first, and you have to be clear about yourself. For example, know what you are capable of, what you have, and what you can do.
Then set the goals you want, and then think about how to fight in the future, why you want to fight, and when, and how much you want to invest and how much you will gain.
03 Why do you do it?
Figure out what you're going to do and why you're going to do it. In other words, what you have to do should match your abilities and resources.
We often have a huge problem: I have to do this, but I really don't have the talent or ability to do it well, what should I do?
Two words to solve this problem - "there is permanence". I'll do it, and I'll schedule more time to do it. You can live without talent, and you can even live well.
Realm, ability, and technology need to be accumulated and practiced over the years, no one can succeed casually, and any return requires solid dedication. Any shortcut is an evil path.
We are generally faced with two scenarios, one is how to use existing resources to do something that can be achieved and achieve short-term goals. The other is how to use the goal drive to find the people and resources needed to achieve a long-term goal after setting a goal.
The ultimate purpose of our success is to achieve the long-term goal, but each stage must achieve a short-term goal, in the process of achieving each short-term goal, the resources formed by people and things will naturally rise to a level, and finally the day will be over, to complete the original unattainable long-term goal.
After clarifying the above three points, you only need to honestly "fight hard" and do a solid job of your important fundamentals. I've never seen anyone who hasn't been successful like this.
