In September 2019, the base earned more than 20,000 catties of fruit in the first year, with an output value of 160,000 yuan. One person is not rich, everyone is rich. With the continuous expansion of the planting scale and the good benefits generated, many villagers in the surrounding area also planted Danxia pomelo under his selfless guidance and guidance. Danxia pomelo industry has become a major brand of our Yujiang, and it is a "sweet" business card to display Yujiang and promote Yujiang landscape.
Agricultural production is sometimes really a matter of eating from the sky. In 2020, a freezing weather hit Ni Jianke's pomelo forest hard, and several years of hard work were ruined. But Ni Jianke became more and more courageous, and in order to resist the cold weather, he built a "sun room" for the grapefruit tree. After a few years of hard work, his pomelo grove was brought back to life.
"My orchard has planted three varieties, Danxia grapefruit, Danxia honey pomelo, and Danxia ruby green pomelo, which are currently planted on 500 acres and have led to the employment of more than 100 villagers. Some of them have 10,000 yuan a year, and most of them have an income of 20,000 to 30,000 yuan a year. The ruby green pomelo introduced is what others don't have, and I make it better if others have, and it has our characteristic taste. The flesh of our pomelo is finer and sweeter. In the next step, we will introduce apple pomelo, which many people may not have heard of, like red Fuji apples, which are more delicious than normal pomelo, I want to drive more villagers to grow pomelo together, and everyone will get rich together and become well-off, which is my biggest ideal and dream.
