Yin Bolin took a fancy to Yang Hong's potential and decided to take him as an apprentice and teach him acting skills. Under the careful guidance of Yin Bolin, Yang Hong made rapid progress and soon appeared on the stage, and his first cry was well received.
In 1993, Yang Hong officially worshipped Yin Bolin as his teacher, and the two teamed up to create a sensational series of works "Lausanne Learning". This series consists of four chapters, which respectively tell the story of a Tibetan teenager Lobsang (played by Yang Hong) who learns cross talk, singing, music and dancing from his mentor Yin Bolin.

1995 was the peak year of Yang Hong's career. He took his parents on a tour of Beijing, admiring his name everywhere on the streets, and the pride and joy of being a family member was palpable.
