An earthquake is the worst disaster in a country in peacetime.
Yang Yashu was one of the 630 orphans of the Wenchuan earthquake, but she was adopted by her well-meaning wealthy "father", and for 10 years, her wealthy "father" Shao Jianbo not only gave her enough help materially, but also led her spiritually on the right path.
Because of the earthquake, the houses where people have lived for decades have been in ruins, and people's loved ones have been separated from each other since then, and the tears on people's faces have become eternal scars.
Whether it is the Tangshan earthquake in 76, the Wenchuan earthquake 15 years ago, and the earthquake in Gansu that just happened, there will be a large number of displaced orphans in these earthquake areas.
Some of them sink or become depressed because they can't bear the pain of losing their loved ones, but more of them will choose to work hard and live healthily, among them, Yang Yashu's life is the best example.
People pay attention to Yang Yashu and her rich "father" Shao Jianbo, what kind of coincidence did they meet? What kind of life did Yang Yashu live?
The hands that ripped away the ruins
Even more than ten years after the Wenchuan earthquake, Yang Yashu can still dream countless times at midnight that the pair of hands that once pulled her out of the ruins, the broad palms are the palms of his Shao Jianbo's father.
At around 12:30 p.m. on May 12, 2008, Yang Yashu had just had lunch, when her mother was cleaning up the dishes and chopsticks after dinner in the hall, and her father was taking a nap in the house.
Her cousin, who was 3 years older than her, came to play with her, and the two were jumping bands in the yard.
But it didn't take long for the strong tremors to start hitting again. Then there was the scene of the house collapsing, and even the big trees at the entrance of the village were all shaky and seemed to be about to fall.
11-year-old Yang Yashu and 14-year-old cousin have never seen such a formation at all, they just feel that their eyes are dark, and they seem to be pressed down by a thousand pounds of weight, and later they learned that it was a triangle formed after the collapse of the house, which just pressed the two of them underneath.
Fortunately, the two of them were not in danger of life for the time being, but their whole bodies could not move, and the biggest shock this time was only a short 96 seconds physically, but for Yang Yashu and her cousin, it seemed that their lives would pass like this.
As soon as the disaster broke out, the state immediately organized a huge rescue team, and there was only one order, that is, to save as many lives as possible at all costs.
At this time, about 50 kilometers away from Yang Yashu's place, there was a person in charge of a private enterprise in Nanjing named Shao Jianbo, who came to Sichuan on a business trip, and according to his original itinerary, he was going to return to Nanjing in the afternoon.
After the earthquake, he walked out of the hotel where he lived, he saw the ruins of the wall, heard a wail, Shao Jianbo's heart was shocked, he made a bold move, that is, he will not return to Nanjing for the time being, he wants to stay, even if he can help, it is good.
Later, many years later, Shao Jianbo can still recall his state of mind at that time: "If I left Sichuan like that while stepping on a piece of ruin, my conscience would be uneasy for the rest of my life." ”
But where to go to the disaster, how to help the disaster, Shao Jianbo's eyes were black and he didn't know at all, just when he was anxious, a rescue team ran past him, he saw the rescue team with very professional rescue equipment, so he thought to himself to just follow this rescue team.
In this way, they came to Yingxiu Town in Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, a place that should have been picturesque, but was made hideous by the earthquake.
After coming to Yingxiu Town, Shao Jianbo was responsible for bandaging the wounded at first, although he did not have professional medical training, but he still worked very hard.
Slowly, with the gradual increase in the number of professional medical personnel, Shao Jianbo was finally able to go with the rescue team members to dig through the rubble to see if there were any signs of life.
At the time of the earthquake, life detectors and search and rescue dogs had not yet been transported to the disaster area, and people simply relied on their own hands to save one fresh life after another.
It wasn't until the early morning of the next day that Shao Jianbo and the rescue team came to the ruins where Yang Yashu and his cousin were staying.
Yang Yashu's cousin was the first to be found and rescued, and at this time she was not sure if her cousin Yang Yashu was still alive, so she just shouted over and over again: "Save my sister, she is near here." ”
Shao Jianbo saw a pair of immature little hands not far away that were already covered with dust and blood mixture, and seeing that these hands were still shaking, he knew that there must still be life here.
didn't have time to think too much, Shao Jianbo hurriedly picked up the large and small ruins and stones again and again, and gradually, the little girl's head was exposed, and she continued to pick it up, and the upper body of the little girl could already be seen. Shao Jianbo was exhausted at this time, but he still used all his strength to stretch out his already bloodstained hands and pull out the little girl Yang Yashu.
Yang Yashu's cousin saw that her sister was still alive, and the faces of the two little girls showed a kind of joy for the rest of their lives. Shao Jianbo looked at them, and the tears that had been suppressed for a long time finally flowed out.
Even though he has been working for a day and a night, even if his eyes are bloodshot, he still flows from the bottom of his heart with a joy that looks at the life he saved. He told himself that it was all worth it.
Let's go with Daddy Shao
It has been 3 days since I saw Yang Yashu and her cousin again. At this time, all the disaster relief and reconstruction work has begun to gradually get on the right track. Shao Jianbo knew that his role was not so great, and he thought he could leave.
Just as he was about to leave the disaster area, he saw the two little girls he rescued with his own hands, compared to 3 days ago, they were no different, but the joy of rebirth on their faces was long gone.
Instead, there is a kind of sadness that only homeless children can show on their faces, loneliness, helplessness, and even a kind of confusion about life.
Shao Jianbo walked up to them and asked them if they had found their families, only to hear Yang Yashu say that his parents had died, and his cousin had also passed away after living with his grandparents. They were orphaned.
Looking at the two girls who were poorly clothed and hungry, Shao Jian fluctuated his compassion, he was financially okay, could he help them!
In fact, as the head of a private enterprise, Shao Jianbo often donates money and materials to some hope projects. Many people also call him a private philanthropist.
After thinking about it for a long time, Shao Jianbo decided to help adopt the two little girls.
Brought them to Nanjing, where they worked, gave them a warm and comfortable living environment, and let them go to school with their schoolbags on their backs, many times Yang Yashu and her cousin would be awakened by nightmares, when they told Shao Jianbo about their nightmares, Shao Jianbo read many books on psychology in his spare time.
Keeping them fed and clothed, and letting them work hard to get out of the haze, is equally important in Shao Jianbo's view.
Every weekend, Shao Jianbo would take the two sisters to the park for a walk, and on their birthdays, they would send them their carefully prepared gifts, and slowly, the sisters began to make a lot of new friends, and they would also introduce Shao Jianbo to their friends and say: "Look, this is my father Shao." ”
Yang Yashu once recalled such a heart-warming little thing, in the winter of one year, when he and his sister walked out of the school gate after school, they saw that in the cold wind, Shao's father put his hands in his pockets, because of the cold and kept stomping his feet.
When the two came to Daddy Shao, Daddy Shao took out two pancakes from his pocket, which were still warm.
Although there is no blood relationship as a bond, for these two little girls, Daddy Shao is their closest relative, and they hope that Daddy Shao can watch them grow up healthily every day.
Spring goes to autumn, year after year, two immature little girls have become two big girls, they both have their own jobs, on weekends, during holidays, their favorite thing to do is to stay with Dad Shao and chat with each other.
But Shao Jianbo knows very well that these two girls still hope to help more people, and the Wenchuan earthquake has left 630 homeless orphans in China, do they all have their own "Shao Dad"? Are they okay? Especially with the gradual prosperity of the news media, Yang Yashu and her cousin want to find those orphans and help them.
The two sisters want to do their part to help more people.
Shao Jianbo is very supportive, when he adopted and helped these two girls, he hoped that they could live a healthy life, and now they are very loving and kind-hearted, which makes Shao Jianbo feel that what he did back then was extremely correct.
Love is "eternal transmission"
Shao Jianbo took the two sisters back to Yingxiu Town, Sichuan, the sad place of the two sisters, after more than ten years of development, except for the stele with the Wenchuan earthquake, there is no trace of the earthquake here, everything is a new look after reconstruction.
The two sisters wanted to find the PLA soldier who had resisted the impact of the stone for Yang Yashu, and after asking around, they learned that the young PLA soldier was now a public security officer, and his name was Kang Jian.
In a police station in Nanjing, Yang Yashu recognized at a glance the PLA soldier who had helped the disaster in the Wenchuan earthquake. No matter how it prompts, Kang Jian said that he helped many people at that time, and he really can't remember.
Looking at the former life-saving benefactor, Yang Yashu wanted to send a pennant to express his gratitude, but Kang Jian hurriedly refused, in his opinion, he just did his duty as a soldier.
Kang Jian didn't expect that a full decade had passed, and the little girl still remembered him and found him, and he himself was very moved.
On May 12 of each year, Shao Jianbo will take the two sisters to the cemetery on the hill on the east side of Yingxiu Town, and offer the flowers they cut by themselves.
"You are buried here after the disaster, and we can still visit you every year after the disaster, it is our luck, and we are determined to use this luck to help more people, even if the strength is limited, but we will continue to do it. ”
The sisters would always lay a bouquet of flowers in front of each headstone in the cemetery. In their view, flowers convey a kind of sorrow, but also a kind of hope for their future life.
Shao Jianbo looked at the two "daughters" who were busy and smiling every day, and he was very relieved that they could maintain such kindness after experiencing such a big disaster.
He also suggested that his two daughters should set up a studio and devote themselves to philanthropy. Yang Yashu saw that Shao's father supported him so much, and he was also determined to do charity to the end.
She and her cousin set up a "Love Charity Studio". From Nanjing at the beginning, and then to public welfare in Jiangsu Province, Yang Yashu felt that her life had found a direction.
She once helped her mother, made her a "little padded jacket", and also went to the welfare home for mentally handicapped children many times to be a confidant big sister for them.
Yang Yashu will bring them a lot of inspirational books, telling them that although the body cannot go to a wider distance, books can allow them to see many scenery in the world.
The children loved to play with this very relatable sister, and they gathered around her to listen to Yang Yashu share the suffering they had suffered, and the fact that she had the most innocent and great fatherly love in the world.
Now she is willing to pass on this love, so that these children who have gathered in the welfare home because of all kinds of hardships can also feel the power of love, and as they grow up, it will be passed on forever.
In addition to charity, Yang Yashu and her cousin will regularly go to the home of anti-Japanese war veterans to volunteer, they are all people who have survived the rain of bullets, and their later life should be colorful.
The story of the Yang Yashu sisters touched everyone who knew them, and their names often appeared on the "Jiangsu Good People List".
Epilogue:
More than ten years have passed in a flash, and time has erased the traces of the earthquake, but in the hearts of those who experienced the catastrophe of life and death, time is difficult to erase the scars.
Sister Yang Yashu chose another path, that is, to use her kindness to help more people in need, so that they can cheer up and actively face all kinds of setbacks and sufferings imposed by life, on another level, this is also to achieve another kind of self-spiritual redemption and growth.
At this moment, our compatriots in Gansu are facing a new test of life and death, and we will not be able to reach them for various reasons, but we pray in our hearts: "Compatriots, I sincerely wish you all well, the haze will dissipate, and the sun will shine on each of you again." ”
