Blizzard released an important blue post on December 20, announcing the update schedule for World of Warcraft in 2024, including two parts: official and nostalgic. The official server has confirmed the schedule of the new expansion "Battle for the Center of the Earth", the nostalgia server has confirmed the schedule of Cataclysm (fission of the earth) nostalgia, and the approximate time of the exploration season server level 40, 50, and 60, of which Cataclysm Nostalgia has opened registration for PTR.
1. Old clothes:
Winter 2024: (January to mid-March)
- The last group of the Lich King's Nostalgic Costume "Scarlet Sanctuary" is now available
- Explore the 40 levels of the Season Server, bringing new runes, a new team book "Nomorigan", and a new PVP event
- Cataclysm Nostalgia PTR registration is open, testing is open
Spring 2024:
- The "Personal Survival Mode" of the hardcore server is launched
- Explore the Season Server at level 50, bringing new runes and new team books.
- Available on the eve of Cataclysm Nostalgia, related events, werewolves and goblins, guild functions, and transmogrification
Summer 2024:
- Cataclysm nostalgia is online, with the first campaign, 4 team books, 7 dungeons, 2 hero dungeons, PVP battlefields, and Deep Rock Continent
- The Exploration Season Server opens at level 60, new runes are opened, and the game event ends
- Cataclysm Nostalgia "Rise of Zandalara" version is launched
Fall 2024:
- The Cataclysm Nostalgia "Fury of Fire" version is now available
- The Quest Season Server Update has ended
Registration for the Cataclysm Nostalgia PTR test is now open, and Asian players can log on to the official website to check it out.
II. Formal Clothing:
The new expansion, Battle for the Center of the Earth, will be available in Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 in Beta B, with pre-installed patches released at the same time, bringing clan and guild updates, dynamic flights outside of Dragon Isle, and more.
There are 3 final patches for "Age of Dragons":
- 10.2.5 is a minor patch that includes new world content, time walks, quest mode, and more.
- The promotional photo of 10.2.6 is a skull banner, the exact content of which is unknown, and may be a pirate theme.
- 10.2.7 Featuring Troll and Draenei Legacy Sets and other activities.
