The 2023-2024 Northern Ice Dragon Boat Super League (Dalian Station) will be held in Xiajiahe Seaside Scenic Area, Ganjingzi District in late January 2024. This is the first time that ice dragon boats have been introduced in Dalian. Guided by the International Ice Dragon Boat Federation, the competition is planned to be attended by 30 teams with a total of more than 500 people, divided into two groups: open group and local group, including 12-person ice dragon boat 100m and 200m straight races, and 5-person ice dragon boat 100m and 200m straight races. Around the ice dragon boat race, Ganjingzi District will hold a series of activities with the theme of "Ice Dragon Boat Racing Experience Year Culture", including the "Boxia Bay under the Aperture" photography exhibition, ice and snow mass sports activities, as well as folk culture festival activities such as visiting the market, tasting snacks, sending Spring Festival couplets, and appreciating intangible cultural heritage.
Dalian Linhai Ski Resort
Since its establishment in 2003, it has been operating healthily for 21 years, with a total investment of more than 7,000 yuan and more than 210 tourists (about 100,000 per year). The whole ski resort covers an area of more than 60 million square meters, with a construction area of more than 5,000 square meters and a snow area of more than 63,000 square meters.
