Yu Province is one of the "Top Ten Painters of the Qing Palace", and the "Fish Algae Diagram" photographed this time is a Xuande notebook, colored, and painted nine kinds of swimming fish in the algae, mixed with shrimp mussels and toads. Yu Province has mastered the essentials of painting fish, drawing a group of fish swimming, chasing, foraging in the clear water, each doing its best, vivid. The water and grass swayed with the waves, the fallen Ying fell, the duckweed was dotted, and the vigorous business appeared on the paper. The whole painting is purely painted in a boneless way, without the brush of outlining, and there are various types of swimming fish, interspersed with a shrimp or frog, dotted in between, more interesting. The fishtail is painted lightly and gracefully, and it is full of momentum, which is overwhelming. The whole picture of the water, without a stroke, but with the algae with the waves, the fish chasing, turning the algae to the pu, the spring water melting.
