From January 30 to February 4, 2024, the 2024 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships will be contested at the Sea Crown Stadium of the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Oriental Sports Center. On the afternoon of December 12, the press conference of the event was held in the World Meeting Room on the banks of the Huangpu River.
The event is hosted by the International Skating Union, organized by the Chinese Figure Skating Association and the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau, and co-organized by Shanghai Jiushi Sports Industry Development (Group) Co., Ltd.
For the first time, the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships were held in Shanghai
Shencheng continues to "Adventure on Ice"
As one of the most important annual events of the International Skating Union, the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships are held once a year, which is the "ice event" of the highest level of figure skaters in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania, and is a high-level event at the same level as the Winter Olympics figure skating competition, the World Figure Skating Championships and the European Figure Skating Championships. The competition includes men's singles, women's singles, pairs and ice dance, with a total of about 500 participants. The full lineup for this event will be announced after the official registration closes on January 9 next year.
Since the 2015 ISU World Figure Skating Championships were successfully held in Shanghai, a series of ice events such as the China Cup World Figure Skating Grand Prix and the Shanghai Super Cup have been held in Shanghai. The two promotional videos of the event (concept and live) were unveiled at the press conference today, and the teenager rotated the globe and led the global audience through four continents and into the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Oriental Sports Center with the world's top figure skaters, looking forward to next year's ice festival.

For different spectators, the ticketing team of the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships has launched three special ticket types: "Winter Vacation Family Parent-Child Ticket", "Cheer China Two-Day Pass" and "Countdown Special Ticket" at 20:00 on December 12. In addition, tickets for the event box will also go on sale in the near future.
Ice kids have always been a unique sight in figure skating competitions. On the same day, the selection of ice boys for the event was also launched at the same time, and the selection was divided into two stages: online primary selection and offline final selection.
