The ending of the "God of War 5" DLC seems to confirm Fei's prediction: Kui Ye is loved

God of War: Ragnarok's Valhalla DLC ends with a subtle reference to Laufi's final prophecy, which appears at the final moment of the base game, where the player can see a cult Kratos.

While most God of War fans expect the follow-up to God of War: Ragnarok to focus on Atreus, we haven't gotten one, at least not yet.

Instead, the recently released free DLC expansion Valhalla focuses on the story of Kratos, who is trying to come to terms with his new role in the world and strive to become the god he was meant to be.

This god is the one that appears at the end of God of War: Ragnarok. After Kratos says goodbye to Atreus, he sees Fiye's last prophecy, showing that he is adored and loved, a far cry from the angry and terrifying god of war that we know in the series. This prophecy was enough to bring Kratos to tears as he saw what he would eventually be like as a god in the eyes of the Norse people.

Considering that Valhalla counts as an ending to Ragnarok and shows that Kui Ye will continue his journey, players may not expect him to have turned into what Faye predicted, but it looks like he is indeed heading in that direction.

As Twitter user Mojica_Rosas spotted, the Valhalla DLC has a subtle reference to the original ending of Ragnarok in the ending scene, with Kratos resembling the mural.

Once you've beaten Valhalla, you'll see a scene clip of Kratos facing his Greek self, who calls himself the "God of Hope".

After the end credits, Kratos can be seen walking out of Valhalla, looking more calm. When he came out, he put the axe on his shoulder, which seemed to be a deliberate reference to his image in the frescoes of the Philippines.
