Overview of the event
On November 26th, I participated in an event hosted by Baidu Intelligent Cloud and hosted by SegmentFault, with the theme of "Generating the Future for My Use". The purpose of this event is to motivate developers to make full use of Baidu's intelligent cloud Qianfan large model platform to build innovative applications and solve practical problems.
Participants and size
The event attracted thousands of developers from more than 40 cities and regions around the world to sign up for the competition, forming a large group of participants. In the end, more than 100 developers from 33 teams were successfully shortlisted for the finals, including students from well-known universities, as well as industry elites from well-known enterprises and academic institutions.
Event Highlights:
The highlight of this event is the luxurious lineup of the judging team, including the chief architect of Baidu Intelligent Cloud Computing AIPaaS technology, the general manager of product research and development of Baidu intelligent cloud application platform, and the CEO of SegmentFault. At the same time, the event was widely supported by industry partners such as Baidu Intelligent Cloud Qianfan Community, Zhen Fund, Sky Eagle Capital, iSoftStone, Intel, Open Source Society, Datawhale, HyperAI, Open Source China oschina, and Venture Capital.
Outstanding works and award-winning teams
Among the many entries, the first prize went to CloudEchoes, a healing indie game that uses Multi-Agent technology.
The second prize went to "AI-Mask", a language assistant that can be used in an instant messaging environment. The third prize was won by "AI Sales Conversion System", an intelligent sales system based on WeChat e-commerce scenarios. In addition, two special awards, "AI Music Generator" and "Masterpiece - Copilot", as well as the Innovation Experiment Award were awarded to eight teams for their work in a variety of fields such as children's education, scientific research, video production, and human efficiency management.

The awards were judged by industry professionals who gave positive comments on the outstanding works.
Industry elites recognized the commercial application potential of the award-winning works, emphasizing the importance of technology and practicality.
Technology applications and trend outlooks
In terms of technical application, the contestants used advanced technologies such as PromptEngineering, fine-tuning language models, and RAG information enhancement. Looking to the future, language models and their applications are still in their infancy, and developers are encouraged to continue to innovate and build native and cutting-edge applications.

Not only was the event completed in a single day, but it also played a positive role in promoting the development of generative AI.
