The newly built Aixu R&D Center Building, with a total construction area of 23,867.53 square meters, the number of floors is 8 floors above ground, and the height is 52 meters, which is a multi-functional building integrating scientific research, office, training and catering, which is the "strongest brain" of Zhejiang Aixu, and scientific and technological research and development, technical training, and academic exchanges are completed here.
The project pursues the continuity of spatial changes and the layering of shape changes in design, which not only conveys the beauty of modern and simple details, but also exudes the scientific and technological charm of technology research and development companies.
Due to the characteristics of enterprise operation, different partitions are required, and functional blocks such as R&D laboratories, Aixu Academy, and global technical training and exchange centers are set up, and all spaces need to be configured with multiple scene modes, and lighting scenes can be automatically and manually controlled and adjusted.
The biggest highlight of the R&D center building is the application of intelligent lighting control system. He Dong, project manager of OPPLE Lighting, said: "For the indoor part, we make a series of keywords such as moderation, comfort, energy saving, and intelligence. The areas involved include: lobby, office area, multi-functional area, etc.; the change mode of intelligent lighting is customized for work, overtime, holidays and other modes. During the on-site commissioning construction process, according to the on-site construction situation, the owner communicated many times, checked the on-site intelligent control line, modified the wiring and deepened the drawings, and realized different mode management for each scene. The open office area realizes the humanized setting of people to lights and people to turn off lights. Independent offices, conference rooms, training rooms and other independent spaces use the panel to preset 5 different scene modes, so that owners can switch different lighting effects at will. ”

The main façade of this building is designed to be a huge cylinder. Each outer node is equipped with 8 small LED spotlights to illuminate the entire steel structure, and each inner node is equipped with 4 small LED spotlights on the outer layer to illuminate the four steel structures. Projection lights create a cool outdoor lighting landscape by changing light and RGB to create a variety of patterns that can be changed. As night falls, the flexible and changing lighting effect makes the entire R&D building like a cluster of countless glowing snowflakes, bursting out in a beautiful posture in the dark night.
Zhejiang Aixu has a total of 9 sets of customized luminous characters, including 6 sets of large luminous characters. The largest is the 26-meter-long and 17-meter-high luminous character located on the front of the frame structure outside the R&D building. Before the installation, the OPPLE project team and the architectural designer both discussed the engineering mechanics of the installation method, such a large luminous word installed in the air 50 meters above, to its wind resistance, load-bearing mechanics and other aspects of the complete assessment, and finally the use of 2 cranes and a variety of installation equipment in the rain for a period of 5 days of operation, and finally successfully completed the construction of all the luminous characters.
"Outdoor floodlight operations are mainly concentrated in the circular research and development building, the original plan to use high crane equipment to assist spider man installation, but the use of crane equipment needs to apply to the local authorities 1 month in advance to obtain a permit, the original plan is not feasible." Through the on-site project meeting, almost all the Spider People in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai provinces were transferred to carry out construction work from top to bottom from top to bottom. He Dong, project manager of OPPLE Lighting, also said that the architectural style of the building is relatively special, and the glass façade is composed of a number of white frames in a "meter" shape around the building body. The columns are largely spaced, and the small projection lights are installed in a cylindrical hoop that is customized to meet the size of the on-site frame, so as to achieve the lighting effect that can render each pillar itself.
From April 1, 2021 to April 14, 2021, after 14 days, two outdoor large plate luminous and floodlit construction operations were successfully completed. The realization effect of the final project, whether it is the overall effect or the local details, has been recognized by the owner.
