The excerpt is excerpted from the stage play "Children Chasing the Light", the first original ideological and political course in Central and South China, which tells the touching story of rural teachers taking root in rural education and teaching young people to "go out of the mountains and return to the mountains".

With the rotation of the picture, the shortlisted works of this year's "Image Central South" competition have been exhibited one after another. Since the release of the competition, more than 200 submissions have been received from 45 colleges and universities across the country, and a total of 15 video works, 22 photography works and 12 painting works have been successfully shortlisted by experts inside and outside the university. Video, photography, painting and other units are full of flowers, and excellent works from 45 colleges and universities across the country fully demonstrate the youthful demeanor of the new generation of journalism students.

Zhang Yu, alumni representative of the School of Journalism and director of the University Work Department of Hubei Radio and Television Education Channel, and students Wang Yibo, Zou Qichen, Chen Zhiting and Luo Jingran brought the poem recitation "Mission and Responsibility" to the party.
The relevant person in charge of the school said that this party is not only an aesthetic education class, but also an ideological and political class and a teaching reform class, turning the three-foot podium into a four-square stage, and guiding the majority of young students to practice the mission and responsibility of journalists in light and shadow.
