According to a report by Australia's Channel 9 on December 16, four fishermen were lucky to survive after capsizing in the waters off the coast of Western Australia.
Today, Ken Thompson and his partner's boat capsized in the sea about 13 kilometres north of Two Rocks, and they clung to the hull of the boat in the sea for nearly 20 minutes until two men on another passing boat rescued them from the sea.

Rory, one of the rescuers, who asked not to give his last name, said: "We told them to jump this way and swim towards us – because there was a rope thrown in the water. ”
"The only thought in my mind at the time was that if we were to find such a situation, hopefully someone would save us in the same way. ”
Thompson was injured in the process of smashing open the cabin to remove the Emergency Position Indicating Radio (EPIRB), but it was the beacon and the flares they fired that prevented them from suffering more serious injuries.
"I was like, 'That's a flare, we've got to go see it,'" Rory said. ”

The vessel, named Sanity, was almost completely submerged, and it will be salvaged out of the water and towed back to the owner's home.
Although the ship was uninsured, Thompson was glad he was rescued.
