The country's self-developed passenger aircraft C919 conducted a flight demonstration in Hong Kong this morning (16th). At 10:30 a.m., C919 entered and flew over Victoria Harbour from west to east, circling Hong Kong Island twice at about 10:50 a.m.

To tie in with the flight demonstrations, the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) has set up temporary restricted airstrips in the vicinity of Victoria Harbour, which restricts activities such as flying unmanned aerial vehicles. Aviation Safety Inspector Lee Hin-yin, who flew the C919 from Shanghai to Hong Kong as Captain, also participated in the flight demonstration.

The temperature in Hong Kong plummeted today, and the Hong Kong Observatory issued a cold weather warning at 6 am today (16th), saying that the minimum temperature in Hong Kong today was only 12°. However, the low temperature weather did not affect the enthusiasm of Hong Kong citizens and tourists to see the style of domestic large aircraft. At around 8 o'clock in the morning, there are already photography enthusiasts and tourists on both sides of Victoria Harbour, hoping to occupy a better position to shoot C919. Photography enthusiasts said that although the weather is starting to get colder, it is a rare opportunity for C919 to come to Hong Kong, and it will fly low in Victoria Harbour, and they hope to take photos of C919 blending into the scenery of Victoria Harbour at that time.
