Yang Xiaole, 30 years old, whose hometown is in Xinyang, Henan Province, married to Zhenxi Village, Yuan Hua Town at the end of 2010, and is now both the cultural administrator of Zhenxi Village and a famous local peasant painting artist in Yuan Hua Town.
Since the first "electrocution" peasant painting in 2013, after 5 years of hard work, her paintings "Kip Stone Lanterns" and "Pear Garden People's Home" were selected for the 11th China Arts Festival "On the Field of Hope" works touring exhibition, "Every Year There Are Fish" won the Hanmo Qingzhou 2015 Chinese Farmer Painting Exhibition Excellence Award, and won provincial and Jiaxing municipal awards for many times.
Entering the city of tide
Yang Xiaole is a famous painting master in the village, drawing, oil painting, gouache painting.
And this love of painting dates back to childhood. Yang Xiaole has been sensitive to color since he was a child, and when he was a student of art, he often had the opportunity to ask for advice from art teachers.
When she grew up, she did not give up her hobby of painting. In 2008, she came to Haining Development. Later, she worked as a cultural administrator in Zhenxi Village, a job that more or less requires a little talent base.
In 2013, the Yuan Huazhen Cultural and Sports Station held a free peasant painting training class, and every week Yuan Jiting, a teacher at the Haining City Cultural Center, would come to teach the class. Yang Xiaole did not hesitate to sign up and began to contact this "fresh" painting, and Teacher Yuan also became the enlightener of her peasant paintings.
Peasant painting is a kind of popular painting, which is mostly made and self-appreciated by farmers themselves, and has the reputation of Picasso of the East.
Its quite local style, exaggerated techniques, and bold use of color May Day did not fascinate Yang Xiaole deeply, and since then it has been out of control. Therefore, the painting style of her peasant paintings is also exaggerated, abstract and full of imagination. Most of the materials are also derived from real life. At the beginning of this year, Yang Xiaole and his family went to Yanguan to see the Tide of the Qian River, and the majestic courage of "the waves came like snow, and a cold place" made Yang Xiaole still remember it vividly.
"There is no tide in my hometown, and I only really felt the power of the tide after I married Haining, and at that time I had a strong impulse to paint." Yang Xiaole said.

With the idea, how to paint brilliantly is another problem that needs to be considered by the painter urgently. "In fact, when I saw the tide with my own eyes, I had a thought in my mind, I want to draw this tide in the form of paper cuts."
Finally, after a month of conceiving and coloring, Haining Chao was vividly restored on a "paper cut". On one side are the surging tide, and on the other side are tourists marveling at the dangers of the tide. This painting "Guan Chao" was finally included in the "Xiuhong Cup" Folk Arts and Crafts Competition.

"Like a contractor who grows peaches in the countryside, he will build a shed in the peach field and keep vigil at night. And I painted the night in the peach orchard, where the family slept in the peach orchard, guarding their own peach blossom garden. Yang Xiaole said that because it was night, he used a blue tone, which looked a little colder.
As he spoke, Yang Xiaole talked about interesting things in the process of painting. "The inspiration for this painting came from my family. The sleeping position of the person in the painting is actually the sleeping position of me and my husband and my children at home, sometimes the children fall asleep and unconsciously cross the two of us, and they really cry and laugh when they wake up in the morning. ”

As the cultural administrator of the village, Yang Xiaole needs to be responsible for the daily cultural life of the villagers, and the peasant painting becomes her advantage. Using painting as a medium, she held various art activities to let villagers enter the rural cultural auditorium and enrich the rural cultural spiritual home.
At present, Yang Xiaole's Zhenxi Village is a famous peasant painting characteristic village in Yuan Hua Town, and there are as many as 13 peasant painting teams founded. At the same time, Zhenxi Village has also been upgraded from the original 3-star village to a 4-star cultural position.
Experts from outside the province came to exchange
In his weekend leisure time, Yang Xiaole will bring children and villagers to the village committee to draw and teach them for free. Therefore, Zhenxi Village holds more collective activities that are paintings, from characteristic bamboo plaque paintings and lantern paintings to advanced versions of gouache paintings and peasant paintings.
Teaching has also become the happiest time of Yang Xiaole's day.
