Guo Changshun, a good star in Shandong: Twenty years of voluntary road construction have benefited the villagers

"In the next step, as long as I am in good health, I will continue to repair this road, repair it well, and everyone will walk well to the road that I have repaired, and I am happy in my heart." Guo Changshun told reporters.

Jinan, February 3 (Shandong Tai Wang Jianyu Jining Tai He Kui Li Linwei) Today's Shandong Good People Star introduces to you guo Changshun, an ordinary farmer who has insisted on repairing rural roads for more than 20 years.

A snowfall on these two days made the road in Guowa Village, Gaohe Street, Jinxiang County, very difficult to walk, and Guo Changshun hurriedly took the tools to clean up.

"He just saw the pit, saw the flatness of the ditch, the ditch that rained was very big, he was flat every year, he did a really good thing, it really made people admire him." Speaking of Guo Changshun's enthusiasm, Zhou Yumei, a villager in Guowa Village, Gaohe Street, Jinxiang County, gave a thumbs up.

20 years ago, the streets and alleys of Guowa Village had not yet hardened, and the roads were potholed and difficult to walk. There are often old people and children who fall because of this, Guo Changshun saw it in his eyes and was anxious in his heart, and began to build a road on a voluntary basis. The materials used to repair the road include broken bricks and gravel picked up from the roadside ditch, construction waste picked up from nearby construction sites, and cement bought by Guo Changshun with his savings, and the tools used to supplement the road are all purchased out of his own pocket. For more than 20 years, Guo Changshun used more than 10 shovels, 2 ground trains, and 3 tricycles before and after. Later, the village built a road, because of the long-term over-the-truck, the road surface was seriously damaged, Guo Changshun still pushed the whole car of small stones and waste bricks as soon as he had time, where there were pits and where to make up.
