November sedan sales list: Sylphy almost won the championship, Volkswagen Lavida Suteng eyed

In the first part, the new media of automobile intelligence analyzed the top 10 SUV sales in November. This time, let's continue to look at the sales ranking of the sedan market in November.

On the whole, although the current sedan market is almost the same as the total SUV market, there is a clear difference between the two, that is, the "weight" of joint venture vehicles. Looking back at the SUV market, except for the "phenomenal" model Model Y, only two Japanese SUVs barely made it into the top 10, and the remaining seats were all occupied by Chinese brands.

First of all, let's look at the first place on the list, there is no suspense that it is still BYD. It's just that the best-selling model in November has been changed from last month's Qin PLUS to its own Seagull, and its monthly sales of 40,594 units are also the only model in the entire list that sells more than 40,000 units. The Qin PLUS sold 38,054 units in November, ranking third. Cheap, large quantity, good reputation is the key to the success of this type of model, as for who should be the sales champion, it all depends on the fluctuation of market demand at this stage.

However, the "runner-up" sandwiched between the Seagull and the Qin PLUS, perhaps more worthy of our attention, is the old Jianghu in the sedan car market - Nissan Sylphy, whose sales of 39,105 units are very small from the first-ranked Seagull. It can be said that it is only one breath away from winning the championship, many people say that Japanese cars have declined, and I don't know how these people will feel when they see the sales of Sylphy?

Of course, the sales of Sylphy alone cannot support the statement that the joint venture is still strong. Looking at the fourth and fifth places, they are respectively from FAW-Volkswagen's Sutar (monthly sales of 29,680 units) and SAIC Volkswagen's Lavida (monthly sales of 29,009 units). From this point of view, there is a market pattern of Xuanyi in front and a public "double hero" in the back, which is really a big restriction on many independent brands of A-class family cars.

The next sixth to eighth place is the world of new energy cars. As for the highest sales, there is no suspense that it is still BYD, and the Dolphin ranks sixth with 26,580 units. The two models of the Wuling series, Wuling Binguo and Wuling Hongguang MINIEV, followed BYD with 24,024 and 22,985 respectively. If the decline in sales of Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is because the outlet of the A00 pure electric car has passed, then Wuling Binguo was suppressed by dolphins and seagulls, why is the reason?

Finally, let's look at the mid-to-high-end sedan market. In ninth place is still from BYD, and the Han series has become the only mid-to-high-end sedan from a Chinese brand on the list with 20,815 units. The tenth-ranked GAC Toyota Camry is also the only shortlisted model of the joint venture B-class car, with monthly sales of 19,783 units.

Seeing this, I believe everyone should have a clearer understanding of today's sedan market. Contrary to what most people think, if you exclude the "phenomenal" BYD family models, in fact, Chinese brands are currently only leading in the micro new energy vehicle market. In addition, it is an undeniable fact that joint venture cars still occupy an important position in the market such as mid-to-high-end sedans and mainstream A-class family cars.
