The Outer Road Hawker appears in the Vending Machine Paradise near the Satellite Gun Base, which is actually a ruin left behind by the Great Destruction, and there are many abandoned vending machines inside.
When you first enter the vending machine paradise, you can see two NPCs shopping inside, and one of them will talk about the legend of canned ramen with you, obviously he is also looking for canned ramen, but the vending machine he is looking for is not right, and he didn't buy canned food.
During the conversation, he would also mention that there is a legend of a ghost seller circulating in the vicinity, and that there are almost no sightings of this bounty head, and it is unclear what kind of bounty head this is, and this NPC is talking and laughing, completely unaware that his death is approaching.
If we just buy a can and leave, I'm afraid we will miss the weird plot created by foreign ghosts. However, most players are Xi exploring mazes and the like, not to mention that this vending machine paradise doesn't seem too dangerous.
After we went to the underground and second-floor rooms, a terrifying scene happened - the two NPCs just now were all lying on the ground and turned into bones in an instant!
We went to investigate, but we couldn't figure out what was going on. At this time, the whole vending machine paradise is filled with a strange atmosphere, as if a pair of eyes are secretly staring at us, but we don't know where that terrible gaze is hidden.

Perhaps the production team felt that the ghost selling plot in "2R" was not bad, so this section was also stuffed into "Heavy Gear 4", which is known as the "heavy hodgepodge", and it was also made into a double ending mission.
This time, the vending machine mission is relatively simpler, as long as you play a certain game progress, go to the hunter's office to find the corresponding NPC to take the mission, and then go to the fixed location in the desert to find this phantom vending machine.
Investigating vending opportunities prompts us to install flares or buy something, but it's important to note that these two options actually correspond to two very different endings, and the wrong choice will directly kill the client's NPC.
Under normal circumstances, according to inertial thinking, because the commission requires us to install signal flares, many players want to go back to the task to receive rewards after installing them.
When I returned to the dam, I encountered a supernatural event - the client had mysteriously disappeared! I asked my companions around me that he had run away to the desert, and eighty percent followed the signal transmitter we installed for the vending machine of illusions.

You must know that the traveling merchants in the world of "Heavy Loader" are usually relatively wealthy, but this outlaw only carries a few hundred dollars on him, probably because he wants to make a fortune from the Phantom Selling Machine, but he didn't expect to take his own life because of it.
The commissioned NPC died, and the Phantom Vending Machine was not destroyed, so it's obviously a Bad Ending.
So how do we trigger the GE ending? Naturally, at the beginning of the mission, when we find the Phantom Vending Machine, we choose another option, "Buy something"!
Heavy Loader 4's Phantom Vending Machine is much more generous than 2R's, with the iconic full drink available for sale, as well as 10 stacks.
If you buy it once, you must win the lottery to trigger the plot, and then it will be the battle link of the old show.
This time, the strength of the ghost dealer in the outer path has decreased very obviously, mainly because we can drive a chariot to fight, and we will break it by dividing it by two in three hits.
The foreign dealer is completely out of stock, and now I can't buy a full drink, so we have to install a signal transmitter on the vending machine after investigating again.
After that, the process was roughly similar, we went back the same way to find the NPC, and the NPC Jones ran to the desert alone, and we turned back to the original site of the vending machine to see, this time Jones was not dead, and he was still alive and well!
Jones complained to us that he was trying to make a windfall from the Phantom Vending Machine, but we broke it.
But after all, we traveled from a parallel timeline and told him that the so-called phantom vending machine was actually the legendary Outer Path Ghost Seller, a monster that kills people without blinking.
