Sales decline, factory layoffs: Japanese joint venture brands are really not fragrant
Fast technology on December 5, everything is a dynamic balance of development, one side of the prosperity, it means that the other side or even many parties will show a recession, such a law also applies to China's auto industry.
In recent years, the strong rise of independent brands, especially in the field of new energy, can be said to be sesame blossoming, occupying more and more markets, but the total amount is so large, you get up, someone is destined to squat, so including Germany, the United States, Japan, South Korea, France and other countries of the joint venture brand encountered the biggest dilemma.

Many of them have withdrawn from the Chinese market, such as Renault, Acura, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, and some are also in danger, and the Japanese triumvirate Toyota, Honda, and Nissan have been living relatively well with their huge fundamentals in the past few years, but since this year, they have also felt the chill.
Recently, Honda announced that it would lay off about 900 contract workers at its Chinese joint venture, Guangqi Honda, for the first time in Honda's 25-year history in China.
According to the data, from January to October this year, Honda's sales in the Chinese market fell by nearly one-fifth compared with the same period last year, a decrease of 18.5%; FAW Toyota's cumulative retail sales were 651,800 units, a slight increase of 0.8% year-on-year, and the official annual sales target was 1.02 million units.
Compared with Toyota and Honda, Nissan, which is already at a disadvantage, is in a more difficult situation, from January to October this year, Nissan sold 620,000 vehicles in China, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, a year-on-year plunge of 33.1%, and has declined year-on-year for 15 consecutive months, all thanks to the strong support of those veterans in the family.
It should be pointed out that here is only to discuss their performance in the Chinese market, after all, in the world, fuel vehicles are still very popular, in this area of Japanese car sales and profits are particularly considerable, but everything is in the dynamic development, if the old ways do not seek change, the century-old giant also has the possibility of collapse.
