However, what Mr. Liu didn't expect was that in the following months, the car still leaked antifreeze, and by February 2023, the car was in a new condition.

Consumer Mr. Liu: One of the serious points, the motor was burned, I urgently contacted the 4S shop for inquiry, a repair found that the motor was all damaged, and all 4 drive motors needed to be replaced. They said they didn't know the reason for it for the time being, but what was certain was that the motor had burned out and needed to be replaced.

In such a situation, Mr. Liu suspected that the motor was burned due to multiple leaks of antifreeze before. Because the antifreeze is mainly used to cool the motor, this may have an indirect relationship with the multiple accumulation and leakage of the antifreeze.

Mr. Liu said that so far, he has sent the car to the 4S shop for repair many times because of the problem of leaking antifreeze from the vehicle, but the problem has not been completely solved, which makes him very annoyed.

According to Article 24 of the Three Guarantees of Continental Automobiles, if the consumer chooses to replace or return the household car product with the purchase invoice and the three guarantees voucher due to the same quality problem for more than 4 times, the seller shall replace or return the product.

Accordingly, Mr. Liu has applied to the manufacturer for a return of the car through the 4S store, but has not yet responded.

Due to the inability to determine the actual number of repairs for a while, Wei Chao, the account manager of Nanchang Yingxing Mercedes-Benz 4S store, said that they will report the situation to the manufacturer as soon as possible and actively communicate and deal with it, but they should not support the customer's demand for returning and replacing the car, because according to the current maintenance data, it cannot meet the requirements for returning the car.

Wei Chao also said that the problem of the vehicle will definitely be solved, and in addition, it will fully communicate with the customer to try to reach an agreement between the two parties.
