The last quota place for the Women's Singles has not been announced. A week after the WTT Taiyuan Regular Challenge, the World Table Tennis Federation finally announced the ownership of the last quota for women's singles, and Zhang Rui of national table tennis qualified for the competition. Zhang Rui, currently ranked 16th in the world in singles, last competed in an international singles tournament at the Singapore Grand Slam in March, where she lost 4-1 to Qian Tianyi in the women's singles semi-finals. Zhang Rui is an important sparring partner in the preparation for the World Championships, and the world ranking once broke into the top 10 in women's singles, but as the Olympic year approached, her opportunities to participate in international competitions decreased, and she recently went to play in Japan's T-League. Now, Zhang Rui has qualified for the WTT Finals Women's Singles, and has also ushered in the opportunity to prove herself in the international arena.
