It is understood that as early as 3 years ago, vivo and MediaTek discussed the design concept of the all-large core architecture, and finally jointly explored the "all-large-core" architecture of the Dimensity 9300 flagship platform. In response to this cooperation at the chip level, Huang Tao revealed that the cooperation with MediaTek is basically three years in advance and started to meet and discuss frequently, and the depth of cooperation between vivo and MediaTek is completely different from the chip technology cooperation four or five years ago.
Han Boxiao added that vivo is open to each other in various tracks, starting from chip design, many things are required to be designed by MediaTek in advance according to vivo standards, how to dock the plug-in chip processor, and which sensors to choose on this generation of platforms. This kind of cooperation is very important, because each manufacturer has its own algorithm and tuning method, but it may not be able to fully match and fully integrate together, and they and MediaTek can do this by working together.
It is understood that with the blessing of the 6nm self-developed image chip V3, the Dimensity 9300, the flagship platform of "all-large core", has achieved a comprehensive breakthrough in key indicators such as CPU, GPU, APU, ISP, etc., and broke the Antutu running score record with stronger performance and lower power consumption - exceeding 2.24 million points.
In the interview, Huang Tao also bluntly said that there will be a more top-of-the-line product next year, but it may be a long time away from the X100 series. vivo will have some unconventional designs in the future, which are something that internal "image geeks" want to make more "peculiar", and there is no guarantee of a release time at the moment, but the price will be much higher than now.
