Eclectic and leading cultural exchange

Rooted in the profound Roman culture, Bulgari has always spared no effort to deepen its cultural heritage, and promoted the further convergence and integration of Eastern and Western cultures through art exhibitions and other means, so that diverse cultures can be "beautiful and beautiful". Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari, said: "Bulgari is a brand with a global reach, and we need to combine the new creative values of diversity and inclusion to continue to bring consumers amazing jewellery creations. The core of the theme of this forum, 'East and West, Art Blooms', is to create emotions. Cultural values, a reverence for art and architecture, and a sense of family bring East and West together together. To this end, Wu Yue, President of LVMH Greater China, also said: "LVMH has always embraced culture and art from all over the world with an open mind. The LVMH Group's brands are inherently humane, and Bulgari is one of the outstanding representatives. Bulgari brought the culture of Rome, Italy, and cultural exchange in the in-depth interaction with Chinese consumers. For brands, interacting with art is a natural choice for 'you have me, I have you'. Seeing the creative works of the two artists further demonstrates what LVMH Maisons have always been doing – to continue to promote cultural exchange between the East and the West, and to explore new ways of multicultural integration. ”

Adhering to the mission of inspiring art

More than 2,000 years ago, China and Ancient Rome were connected by the Silk Road. Now, as the two ancient civilizations have once again joined hands to write a new chapter, Bulgari is also duty-bound to shoulder the social responsibility of cultural exchange between the East and the West. In March this year, Bulgari held the "75th Anniversary of the Bulgari Serpenti Collection" art exhibition, which recreates the image of the snake in the ancient civilizations of the East and the West with contemporary art. As the curator of the exhibition, Chinese curator Cao Dan talks about her thoughts and gains in the process of preparing for the exhibition: "As an artist, Bulgari has a different meaning to me, because Bulgari has always been committed to promoting artistic and cultural exchanges, and has continued to carry out a number of influential cultural and artistic projects. In today's era of multicultural interconnection, Eastern civilization and Western civilization are no longer far apart. Through the interweaving and inspiration of art and culture, there is a brilliant connection between Eastern and Western civilizations. ”

Work together to open a bright new chapter

At the 6th China International Import Expo, Bulgari invited Chinese artist Qiu Anxiong and Italian artist Giuseppe Lo Schiavo to create a masterpiece that deeply interprets the vision of "East meets West, art blooms". Qiu Anxiong shared his creative experience on the spot: "The process of participating in the creation of this exhibition is a valuable experience, and I am very grateful to Bulgari for giving me the opportunity to work with Italian artists to create together. For me, the use of artificial intelligence technology to skillfully integrate creations from different cultural perspectives to achieve new works that exceed my expectations is not only an exploration of future technology, but also a valuable creative experience. Giuseppe Lo Cievo also expressed the new surprise behind this creation: "My work is inspired by Western culture, specifically, I borrow elements from the classical architecture of Rome. I wanted to use technology to create a world that is impossible in reality, and to interpret Bulgari's rich history and cultural heritage. The development of technology has strengthened the connection between people, and contemporary art is a powerful example of this trend. In fact, some talented artists are trying to blend traditional elements from the East and the West. ”

Art and culture have always been a constant source of inspiration for Bulgari, and many of the most enduring works of art have been created for this purpose. Integrating ancient and modern Eastern and Western cultures, Bulgari continues to absorb diverse styles and create refreshing artistic works in the interweaving of cultures. In the future, Bulgari will continue to build a bridge between Italian and Chinese culture and art, promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning between the East and the West, and jointly open a brilliant new journey for all parties to work together.
