Recently, this small village, located 3 kilometers west of the Tangxi town government in the Jinhua Development Zone, has been a bit "on fire".
Drive along the Xinjia Highway to Paixitong Village, where you can see large areas of golden rice fields everywhere along the route. As soon as you walk into the village, you will see the Zhejiang-style houses with white walls and black tiles, clean and tidy village alleys, beautiful wall paintings and unique landscape sketches, complete supporting facilities such as public toilets and parking lots in the village, and complete public spaces such as children's playgrounds, elderly activity centers, cultural auditoriums, and meeting rooms.
The beautiful Houda Creek surrounds the village, with verdant trees and gurgling water by the stream, and the ecological landscape is breathtaking. White tents are scattered on the grass, tourists and various research groups come to set up barbecue grills, put fresh ingredients, barbecue on bonfires, entertainment and leisure, group parties, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoy a leisurely time.
The beautiful butterfly transformation of Pai Xi Tong Village stems from the future rural construction. Since 2021, the two committees of Paixitong Village have taken advantage of the east wind of future rural construction and made use of the resource advantages of the village to create ten scenarios of "one heart, two halls, three parks and four squares", and further improved the happiness index of villagers through the improvement of the rural environment, the demolition of old houses, the creation of beautiful courtyards, the construction of village living rooms, the construction of ecological greenways, and the support of characteristic industries.
This year, Paixi Tong Village has started a "water article" again, relying on Houdaxi and the ecological greenway along the line, turning a wasteland by the stream into a camping base for the "π and Gongfu Tribe". At the same time, the village cultural hall will be upgraded and renovated, and tourists and children can immerse themselves in rice culture through VR equipment, interactive ground projection and other technological means.
Lu Yangchao was selected and transferred from Jinhua City, and in 2022, he was sent to Paixitong Village as the assistant secretary of the village party branch, and the villagers affectionately called him "Dr. Lu". "In the past, I used to take care of the elderly and children at home, but now I mainly help with side dishes, chop vegetables, and do some service work in the camping base, so that I can make money at my doorstep. However, the originally quiet village suddenly became lively, but there were "happy troubles" again. "There are a lot of tourists in the village all of a sudden, and our service can't keep up, so the experience of tourists is not so good. Some of our public facilities lack dedicated O&M staff. In addition, the environment by the stream is so good, there are many people who come to fish, and our parking space is limited, so the appearance is not very good. Lu Yangchao told reporters.
The infrastructure is not perfect, the business format is relatively simple, and the homogeneity is serious, which is also the survival dilemma faced by many tourist villages, including Paixitong Village. How to make the fledgling future village embark on a healthier and longer-term development path is a problem that Xiong Weihua, secretary of the village party branch, is thinking hard about.
"Rural tourism, service first. We must make the service fine and make our own characteristics. Xiong Weihua told reporters. After receiving a group of tourists, he will carefully ask them how they feel, and gradually improve the service and increase the number of business formats. At the same time, he also plans to rely on the Houdaxi Greenway to connect Xiayi Village, Yuexi Baihe Village, Houda Village, Paixi Li Village and other villages along the line, "You specialize in catering, I specialize in accommodation, and he specializes in entertainment", so that everyone can develop together and cooperate for a win-win situation.
In the future, Paixi Tong Village also plans to plan a children's play area in the camping area, create a water park, and prepare to open up a shared vegetable plot as a picking base, and introduce farmhouse earthen stoves to further enrich the farmhouse experience. At the same time, public facilities such as the 4:30 Trusteeship School, the Senior Activity Center, and the Cultural Auditorium will also be opened.
"It took us a year to build the infrastructure in the village. The second step is to gather popularity and gather popularity through various activities to attract more and more tourists. The third step is to gather wealth and make the beautiful scenery become a 'money' scene. Lu Yangchao said.
