The inlaid bronze medallion is a kind of bronze ware mainly popular in the Xia Dynasty, indicating that the turquoise inlay technique of the Xia Dynasty was quite mature.

This turquoise dragon is composed of more than 2,000 pieces of turquoise pieces of various shapes, each piece of turquoise is only 0.2~0.9 cm in size, and the thickness is only about 0.1 cm. There is also a copper bell on the waist of the dragon, which may correspond to the record of "Long Yang Yang, and Ling Yang Yang" in the Book of Songs. Its huge labor, fine production and large volume are very rare in the early Chinese dragon image cultural relics.
