"Restricted by production methods, there are some industry pain points in the traditional mining industry, such as production safety, leakage and environmental protection debts. Through the transformation of smart mines, we apply 5G technology to mining areas, and realize dynamic real-time monitoring of the whole production process by accessing massive sensors, maintain mine production in the best state and optimal level, and gradually realize the digitalization, intelligence and unmanned of mines, so as to maximize the safety production efficiency of mines, solve environmental protection problems, and realize green mines. In order to ensure safe and green production, Jinding Smart Mine has achieved full 5G coverage, carried out slope geological early warning and disaster monitoring in the mine, equipped workers with visual, sensible and emergency smart helmets, used infrared electronic fences to detect and warn of overmining and over-excavation, and carried out full-time online monitoring of production emissions, mine safety transportation monitoring, and real-time monitoring of noise, dust, gas, water and soil, mountain fires and other conditions in the production environment.
In terms of energy conservation and emission reduction, Chen Zhigang led the team to develop a potential energy recovery and power generation transportation system for Jinding Limestone Mine, which can realize energy recovery and reuse.
"After the ore is mined from the top of the mountain, it needs to be transported down by belt, and our potential energy power generation conveyor belt can generate 900 kilowatt-hours of electricity almost every hour, and the electricity consumption of the entire initial breaking transmission section is 1,677 per hour, which is equivalent to half of the energy consumption solved by our own electricity." Chen Zhigang said.
Digital transformation is not only an innovation of production methods, but also a comprehensive innovation of enterprise management models, and the "5G Smart Mine Solution" solves two traditional historical problems.

At the same time, the logistics price is reduced by 15 yuan per vehicle. The waiting time is shortened, and the transport driver can also run a few more times, and the monthly income used to be 7,000-8,000 yuan, and now the hard-working driver can get up to 14,000 yuan. ”
In addition, through information technology, equipment management can realize the transformation from post-maintenance, planned maintenance, spot inspection and scheduled maintenance to predictive maintenance.
From the perspective of direct economic benefits, since the project was launched, it has saved 2/3 of the labor cost for the mine supply and marketing link, improved the supply and marketing efficiency by 20%, and increased the sales volume by 10%.
"In terms of social benefits, the project is the first application of '5G + Industrial Internet' in Sichuan Province in the mining industry, which has played a positive demonstration and application effect on the technological progress and promotion of the industry in the province. In the future, the company will cooperate with China Telecom, Jinding Group and the Mining Research Institute to release a joint white paper, which will become the standard for the promotion of 5G limestone mine projects, and the social investment value is expected to reach hundreds of billions of yuan. Chen Zhigang said.
