Cui Zhi
Formerly known as Cui Zhigang, he is good at calligraphy and seal carving. Originally from Baoding, Hebei Province, he was born in Beijing in 1949. He is the president of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Collectors Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, an editorial board member of the Calligraphy Series of the Cultural Relics Publishing House, the vice chairman of the Beijing Folk Writers Association, and a visiting professor at Hanshan Normal University.
He won the first Chinese Calligraphy Lanting Award and the 4th Chinese Folk Writers Association Shanhua Award.
He is the author of 33 monographs, including "Notes on Guiyantang", "Talking Drama", "Shujia Yulin", "Ming Dynasty Calligraphy Art", and "Cui Zhi's Story Collection".
