On the fourth day of the regular season of the new NBA season, the results are summarized:
1. Pistons 111: 99 Wasp
Although the Pistons didn't play well offensively, they did a good job defensively and controlled rebounds well, with 12 more than their opponents.
Although the Hornets defended the Pistons' champion, the Pistons' three benches, Burks, Ivey, and Bagley combined to contribute 56 points.
The Hornets' rookie contributed 17 points and six rebounds.
2. Nuggets 108:104 Grizzlies
It's hard to imagine that the Grizzlies can entangle with the Nuggets to the end, because of their restrictions on Jokic, who contributed 22 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists, but also had 9 turnovers.
The Grizzlies lost on their own offensive end, and it's worth mentioning that Rose, the top pick in '08, scored 16 points.
3. Knicks 126: 120 Hawks
The Hawks' defense isn't average, and Trae Young seems to want to make some changes, such as giving up some of his individual offense and connecting the whole team, but the effect doesn't seem to be obvious. Even with 12 assists in the game. But the team's defense was too poor, allowing the Knicks to shoot 20 three-pointers, Brunson contributed 31 points, and Barrett contributed 26 points.
4. Heat 111: 119 Celtics
Butler seems to have started the regular season play dead again, with Herro, who missed the playoffs last season, contributing 28 points, six rebounds and six assists.
Unfortunately, the Celtics scored too many points, with Brown scoring 27 points, Tatum 22 points, White 28 points, and Porzingis and Holiday both contributing 17 points.
5. Thunder 108: 105 Knights
The Thunder's years of rebuilding finally came to fruition with Alexander 34 points and 11 rebounds, Dort 25 points and 6 rebounds, and Holmgren 16 points and 13 rebounds.
In the regular season, Mitchell was as fierce as ever, contributing 43 points in the game.
6. Rockets 122: 126 Spurs
The two underdogs also played overtime, and it was clear that the Spurs were better in terms of integrity.
Although the Rockets have 3 players and 20+, Wembanyama, who has been sluggish in overtime, stepped up to help the team win.
Wembanyama had 21 points and 12 rebounds, Vassell had 25 points and Johnson had 20 points.
7. Raptors 103: 104 Bulls
It was overtime again, and Caruso of the Bulls made a final shot.
The Raptors' Barnes was good, contributing 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Caruso contributed 13 points and 13 rebounds, and DeRozan contributed 33 points.
8. Nets 120:125 Mavericks
The Nets were all soldiers, but in the end they lost to Doncic of the Mavericks, because Doncic played amazing statistics, 49 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Irving had only 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
9. Clippers 118: 120 Jazz
It was an upset game today, with six Jazz players scoring in double figures, including Markkanen contributing 35 points and 12 rebounds.
On the Clippers' side, George scored 36 points, Leonard scored 25 points, and Wei Shao, who had an excellent performance in the last game, only had 4 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 turnovers.
10. Warriors 122:114 King
This game fully proved that the elimination of the Kings in the playoffs last season was inevitable, because Curry single-handedly picked the Kings off, 14-of-19 from the field, contributing 41 points.
Of course, the Kings' Fox also contributed 39 points, and Sabonis had 19 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists.
The Warriors had six double-doubles, including Curry's 41 points.
11. Magic 102: 97 Trailblazers
The Magic, a rebuilt team, is also seeing the light of day. The great thing is that the defense is particularly good, and 5 people score double-doubles.
The Trail Blazers need to highlight two people, one is Ayton, who contributed 14 points and 15 rebounds, and the other is Henderson, who contributed 7 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
Today's star is Doncic with 49 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
